Chapter 7 - TIRED

OLIVIA'S POV

I was exhausted.

Emotionally.

Physically.

I didn't want to do this anymore.

No.

I couldn't do this anymore.

Mr Leon was slowly draining me.

No matter how much I told him that I didn't want to do this anymore, he wouldn't listen.

It had been two weeks since they came.

Two weeks of hell.

And the worst part was how my body was beginning to get used to it.

My heart and mind hated it but my body wanted it.

How?

Why?

I wish I could do this with Lucien.

But I couldn't.

Olivia, when did you become like this?

So dirty.

So disgusting.

"Olivia." Lucien's voice startled me out of my thoughts.

My fingers slipped and the knife in my hand cut my finger instead of the onion on the board.

A low hiss left my parted lips as blood dropped onto the board.

"What the fuck's wrong with you." He cussed, calmly grabbing my bleeding finger and put it into his mouth.

A gasp escaped my lips, I tried to pull my finger back but the look in his eyes made me stop struggling.

I looked away, heat spreading all over my body.

Just seeing him brought relief to me.

His eyes met mine as he removed my finger from his mouth.

"Thank you." I said my voice low, trying to pull my hand back.

His grip tightened around my wrist.

I let out a low hiss and his grip loosened a little.

"Tell me Olivia, what's going on with you these days?"

I gulped.

"Nothing." The lie slipped out of my mouth.

He dropped my hand and moved back.

His eyes slowly scanned me from head to toe.

I nervously bit my lip.

"Olivia." He called my name.

"Yes sir." I answered, lightly clenching my fingers.

The pain from my cut finger long forgotten.

He opened his mouth then closed it up.

He shook his head and turned on his heels. I furrowed my brows.

What just happened?

Why did he not say anything?

I sighed in disappointment and continued with what I was doing.

I wanted him to say something…..I didn't know what but I wanted him to.

I ignored the stinging feeling as I chopped up the veggies.

********************

"Don't get lost." Taylor's concerned voice called behind me as I headed out the door.

He had asked me to get something for him at the mall.

I wanted to shout back that I wasn't a little kid that would lose their way home but I bit my tongue and walked out.

I waited a few minutes before the taxi arrived.

As soon as I got in and closed the car door the cab took off in the direction of the mall.

I hadn't seen Mr Leon or Lucien since the afternoon.

Every time I saw them talking my heart would skip a beat. I was always afraid that he would open his mouth and tell him about my feelings and what we were doing...no what he was doing to me.

I didn't trust Mr Leon anymore.

He was deranged, perverted and didn't keep to his word.

I walked into the store Taylor had told me to go to. It was huge and glamorous, filled with fancy suits, evening gowns and more fancy stuff.

"Good evening ma'am how may I be of assistance?" a pretty girl asked.

"I am here to collect something for Mr Taylor Smith." I awkwardly touched my hair feeling a little out of place with my jeans, an oversized tee and sneakers.

She beamed and nodded her head. "Mr Smith's order. Follow me please."

I awkwardly smiled back and followed behind her.

I bit my lip watching her back as she walked.

She was so gorgeous. Her outfit, the way she walked, the way she talked and the way she smiled.

A pang of jealousy clouded me as I realized that I could never be like that.

She was probably the type of girl Lucien liked.

"This is it, please just sign here and you're free to go." She smiled as she handed me a pen and a clipboard.

I signed without reading anything. She handed me a suit cover bag, and I thanked her before leaving the shop.

I got another cab back home. The drive was short but refreshing. I'd managed to forget about the perfect girl I'd seen at the store and the disgusting man who was always tormenting me.

But as soon as I got home it all came crashing down.

The moment I walked in I could tell something was wrong.

Taylor was missing from the lounge, the TV was on but it was muted, there were snacks all over the floor and the house was quiet.

Whenever Taylor and Mr Leon were around the house was never quiet.

Did something happen?

Was there a robbery, but how?

I placed the suit cover bag on the couch.

"Taylor." I called anxiously looking around.

No answer.

I headed upstairs, all the doors were closed except Lucien's.

I could hear the water running.

"Mr Hale." I knocked on the door but no answer came.

I slowly walked in, my heart pounding with every step.

What if something had happened to him?

How would I ever live without him?

No.

Just as I was about to open the bathroom door it opened.

Lucien stood there in all his beautiful glory.

His hair was damp, he had a towel wrapped around his waist but his upper body was not covered.

I gulped, the fear instantly leaving me.

"Just the person I wanted to see." His voice came out cold and hostile.

His whole demeanor suddenly changed.

My heart dropped. I was gonna get hit again.
