Feyi stood at the doorway of the classroom as the door slowly closed behind him.
The moment he stepped in, the conversations inside the room faded. One by one, the students turned their heads to look at him. Some looked curious. Some looked unimpressed. Others stared at him the way predators examine something new entering their territory.
The classroom itself was large and circular, with desks arranged in a loose semi-ring around the center. Strange glowing symbols were carved into parts of the walls, pulsing faintly with soft light.
Feyi felt all the eyes on him, but he didn't react.
His gaze moved calmly across the room.
Then it stopped.
A girl with bright red hair was staring directly at him.
Her hair was long and fiery, falling down her shoulders like a flame that refused to calm down. But it wasn't her hair that stood out the most.
It was her eyes.
Sharp.
Cold.
Confident.
The eyes of someone who enjoyed dominating others.
She leaned back in her chair lazily, looking him up and down with a slow smirk spreading across her face.
"Hmm," she muttered.
Her voice was loud enough for the room to hear.
"So this is the new anomaly."
A few students chuckled quietly.
Feyi didn't respond.
He simply walked forward.
His steps were steady but not particularly powerful. Anyone paying attention could tell something immediately.
His body wasn't very well conditioned.
He wasn't bulky like some fighters.
He wasn't tall or intimidating.
He looked like someone who had not spent years training his body.
The red-haired girl noticed it instantly.
She tilted her head.
"…That's it?"
Another boy whispered to his friend.
"He looks kinda normal."
"Too normal."
Feyi reached an empty seat and sat down calmly without speaking.
Aurelian stepped forward at that moment.
His presence immediately silenced the room.
He stood near the front with his usual calm expression, silver hair catching the classroom light.
"Now that everyone is here," Aurelian said, "we can begin."
He turned slightly toward Feyi.
"This is Feyi."
The class stared again.
"He will be joining Class Nine starting today."
A boy with dark blue hair raised a hand.
"Another anomaly?"
"Yes," Aurelian replied.
The red-haired girl crossed her arms.
"So what can he do?"
Aurelian smiled faintly.
"That," he said calmly, "is exactly what we're about to find out."
He clapped his hands once.
"Everyone stand."
Chairs scraped against the floor as the students got up.
Aurelian walked toward the door.
"We're going to the combat room."
Immediately several students smiled.
"Now it gets interesting."
"I was getting bored."
Then Aurelian added something that made the entire room react.
"You will all spar with Feyi."
The class fell silent.
The red-haired girl raised an eyebrow.
"All of us?"
"Yes."
Aurelian looked around the room.
"You need to understand his power."
Then he looked at Feyi.
"And we must determine whether he can lead this class."
That statement made several students laugh.
"Lead us?"
"Let's see if he survives first."
The red-haired girl grinned.
"I like this test."
Feyi stood up quietly.
He didn't argue.
He simply followed them.
The combat room was enormous.
It looked more like a battle arena than a training hall. The stone floor was reinforced and covered in glowing circular patterns that pulsed faintly with energy. Powerful barrier fields surrounded the arena to prevent damage from spreading outside.
The students gathered along the edges.
Aurelian stepped into the center.
"The rules are simple," he said calmly.
"No killing."
Some students laughed.
"You will fight one at a time."
He looked at Feyi.
"Your task is simple."
"Win."
Feyi nodded.
Aurelian looked toward the class.
"First challenger."
A tall boy stepped forward immediately.
"I'll go."
He cracked his neck confidently.
"My name is Daren."
Golden energy flowed across his arms like glowing cracks in stone.
"My power is Earth Reinforcement."
His muscles hardened like rock as energy spread through his body.
He slammed his foot against the arena floor.
CRACK.
The stone fractured beneath him.
"Ready?" he said.
Feyi nodded.
The fight began.
Daren rushed forward like a charging bull. His fist swung forward with enormous strength, powerful enough to break bone.
Feyi barely moved.
The punch landed directly on his chest.
BOOM.
The impact echoed through the arena.
Several students smiled.
"That should hurt."
But the dust cleared.
Feyi was still standing.
Completely unharmed.
Daren blinked.
"…What?"
Feyi calmly raised his hand.
"My power is invincibility."
Then he moved.
His body wasn't fast or explosive, but his timing was perfect.
One sharp strike to Daren's neck.
Daren collapsed instantly.
The class fell silent.
Aurelian spoke calmly.
"Next."
The second challenger stepped forward.
A girl with silver eyes.
"My power is wind manipulation."
She raised her hand and blades of compressed air shot toward Feyi.
They struck him directly.
SLASH.
SLASH.
SLASH.
The wind blades hit his body again and again.
But nothing happened.
They simply shattered against him like glass hitting steel.
Feyi walked through the storm.
Calm.
Untouched.
He stepped close.
One precise strike.
She collapsed.
The whispers began spreading.
"His body really can't be hurt…"
"That's broken."
More challengers came.
A lightning user.
A shadow manipulator.
A fighter who enhanced his speed.
Another who created ice spikes from the ground.
Each battle looked intense.
Lightning struck Feyi's body.
Ice shattered against him.
Fire burned across his skin.
But nothing harmed him.
His invincibility absorbed everything.
However, something else became clear.
Feyi was getting tired.
His breathing grew heavier.
His movements slowed.
He wasn't injured — but he was exhausted.
He had to move, dodge, step, and strike.
And his body simply wasn't that well trained.
Still, he fought intelligently.
He let enemies attack him directly, conserving energy by not dodging unnecessary attacks.
Then when they got close—
He ended the fight with a single decisive strike.
One by one, the students fell.
Soon only a few remained standing.
The red-haired girl stepped forward.
She stretched her arms casually.
"My turn."
Flames ignited in her palm.
"My name is Kaela."
The fire grew brighter.
"My power is flame manipulation."
She smiled.
"Let's see if invincibility can handle this."
She attacked immediately.
A wave of fire exploded across the arena.
The flames swallowed Feyi completely.
The heat forced several students to shield their eyes.
But when the fire cleared—
Feyi walked out of the flames.
Unburned.
Untouched.
Kaela's smile widened.
"Yeah… this power is annoying."
She attacked repeatedly.
Flames erupted across the battlefield.
Explosions of heat filled the air.
Feyi endured everything.
Then when she came too close—
He struck.
Kaela dropped instantly.
The students stared in disbelief.
"He beat Kaela too…"
Only one student remained.
A tall boy who had been watching silently.
He stepped forward calmly.
"My name is Rhyden."
Dark energy formed around him.
"My power is gravity control."
The atmosphere shifted instantly.
The air became heavier.
Even the spectators felt it.
Rhyden raised his hand.
The gravity around Feyi increased.
CRACK.
The arena floor broke beneath his feet.
Feyi struggled to move.
His invincibility protected him from damage.
But it didn't remove weight.
The pressure increased.
His body trembled under the force.
Rhyden walked closer.
"You can't be hurt," he said calmly.
"But gravity doesn't need to hurt you."
He clenched his hand.
The weight increased again.
Feyi dropped to one knee.
His muscles shook violently from exhaustion.
He tried to stand.
But he had already fought too many battles.
His stamina had reached its limit.
Rhyden stopped in front of him.
"You're strong," he admitted.
"But endurance matters."
Feyi tried to push himself up again.
But his body refused.
He collapsed onto the stone floor.
The arena went silent.
Rhyden turned away.
"He defeated everyone else."
Then he looked at Aurelian.
"But not me."
Feyi lay there breathing heavily.
His invincibility had protected him through every battle.
But his exhausted body had finally reached its limit.
