Chapter 10 - Chapter 10 The Majestic Saintess

  Chapter 10 The Majestic Saintess

After getting up and dressing, Chen Yao picked up Yu Xiaogang and headed for the door.

The drug he had given Yu Xiaogang would probably keep him unconscious for about two days. Now that time was almost up; he should wake up in half a day.

Chen Yao didn't want Yu Xiaogang to wake up in this room, adding unnecessary trouble and bad luck.

Finding a junkyard in the slums, Chen Yao casually tossed Yu Xiaogang down and returned to the inn.

On the way back, he also brought a set of clothes for Bibi Dong.

He had no choice; when he woke up, Bibi Dong's clothes were completely ruined, showing how crazy Chen Yao had been under the influence of the drug.

And Bibi Dong had been in a vacuum for the past few days; now that Chen Yao was letting her go back, he couldn't just let her leave the inn like that, could he?

Back in the room, Chen Yao woke Bibi Dong up.

Through Bibi Dong's dazed and hazy vision, Chen Yao tossed his clothes onto her, a fawning smile on his face.

"Holy Maiden, I welcome you back to the Spirit Hall today."

Hearing this, Bibi Dong instantly perked up. She was initially uncomfortable with Chen Yao's obsequious attitude, but then, remembering his words, disbelief flashed in her eyes.

Was her nightmare finally coming to an end?

"You…you really want to let me go back?"

  Bibi Dong asked hesitantly.

"Holy Maiden, your status is noble, while I am merely an outer steward of the Spirit Hall. It's fine here, but once we're outside, please remember not to speak to me in such a weak tone."

Chen Yao's smile remained ingratiating, but a cold glint, a warning, flashed in his slightly curved eyes.

  "I know…"

Bibi Dong stammered, but sensing Chen Yao's sharp gaze, she immediately reacted, her expression changing to solemnity as she spoke indifferently,

  "I understand."

Her voice carried a hint of authority. If Bibi Dong hadn't been unclothed and hadn't yet put on the clothes Chen Yao had brought, she would have truly resembled the aloof and dignified saintess she once was.

"Good performance. Remember to keep it under wraps outside, don't give anything away."

Chen Yao nodded in satisfaction, a fiery glint in his eyes.

It must be said that Bibi Dong's full, fiery body, combined with her cold and dignified expression, added a unique allure.

It was like an iceberg colliding with lava, stirring a restless desire within Chen Yao.

Noticing Chen Yao's gaze harden, Bibi Dong felt a burning sensation beneath her skin, her face flushing slightly. She quickly turned her head away, avoiding his gaze

and darting around erratically. She then discovered that the spot where Yu Xiaogang had been unconscious yesterday was now empty.

"Where did you put Yu Xiaogang?"

Bibi Dong frowned and asked hastily.

"He's my lifeline now, how could I possibly harm him? Don't worry, I just took him where he should be."

As Bibi Dong mentioned Yu Xiaogang, Chen Yao suddenly seemed to remember something and added another instruction.

"By the way, if anyone in the Spirit Hall discovers you've lost your virginity, you should know what to say, right?"

Chen Yao thought of Qian Xunji, and realized that Bibi Dong would likely face the same fate in the future.

Although, in Chen Yao's view, Qian Xunji initially genuinely only saw Bibi Dong as his disciple and successor to the Spirit Hall.

After all, Bibi Dong was raised by Qian Xunji, and her values were shaped by him.

If Qian Xunji truly harbored any ulterior motives towards Bibi Dong, he wouldn't have gone through so much trouble. Why take her in as a disciple? He could have

simply raised her as a child bride, and then used some methods during her growth. Wouldn't Bibi Dong have been completely devoted to Qian Xunji? There wouldn't have been any later events.

It was only because Bibi Dong brought it upon herself, falling for Yu Xiaogang, whose strength was completely mismatched and whose backing was even subtly hostile, that Qian Xunji eventually became desperate and gave Bibi Dong the "ten-month pregnancy gift."

Although Qian Xunji held a high position and possessed great strength, Chen Yao genuinely thought he was quite foolish. Not only did he have his carefully nurtured disciple stolen by a good-for-nothing, but

after committing those unethical acts, he knew Bibi Dong harbored resentment towards him, yet he remained indifferent, even keeping her in the Spirit Hall. He

even tried to seize Tang Hao's wife's 100,000-year-old Blue Silver Emperor spirit ring and spirit bone for Bibi Dong's sake.

His attempt backfired spectacularly, resulting in him being severely injured by Tang Hao.

In the end, he naively believed that Bibi Dong was moved by his actions, forgave him, and even prepared medicine for his injuries. He

ultimately succumbed to Bibi Dong's poison, suffering a brutal fate, and the Spirit Hall's accumulated wealth was handed over to this resentful and jealous woman.

In Chen Yao's opinion, if he were Qian Xunji, even if he didn't kill Bibi Dong, he would have squeezed her dry, collected enough interest, and then simply kicked her out, leaving her to fend for herself.

Perhaps if Bibi Dong, who has nothing, stayed with the impoverished and weak Yu Xiaogang for a while, she would finally understand what human suffering truly meant.

The Spirit Hall would be a paradise for her.

However, these were merely Chen Yao's speculations. What happened to Qian Xunji was none of his concern; he was currently just a lowly Soul Master struggling to survive, unable to change anything.

If Qian Xunji were to follow the same path in the future, Chen Yao couldn't let Bibi Dong let it slip. He had to repeatedly warn him.

"Why did the Spirit Hall discover me… Even if they did, what should I say?"

Bibi Dong was puzzled by Chen Yao's instructions, her brows furrowing slightly as she asked.

"Just in case. Besides, you're a Holy Maiden carefully cultivated by the Spirit Hall, yet you've acted so rebelliously, getting together with the trash from the Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Clan. Who knows, your teacher, our respected Pope, might be enraged and do something bad to you. So if things come to light, remember to pin it on Yu Xiaogang."

Chen Yao wasn't a good person; he'd even given Bibi Dong a chilling, exhilarating, unforgettable experience before Qian Xunji, going even further than Qian Xunji.

But as a man, his damned possessiveness still lingered. Although he knew it was unlikely to stop her, he still subtly reminded Bibi Dong.

"Ha! You think everyone is like you, a filthy, despicable, shameless scum? My teacher is the most esteemed Pope of the Spirit Hall; how could he possibly look favorably upon me?"

Bibi Dong, exceptionally intelligent since childhood, naturally understood the meaning behind Chen Yao's words and immediately let out a cold sneer.

Qian Xunji was the man she respected most besides Yu Xiaogang, and he had always been very protective of her since childhood. She would not allow Chen Yao, this scumbag, to slander her like this.
