Chapter 3 - Chapter 3 — The Council’s Decision

................................................................................

The chamber of the celestial council filled with uneasy murmurs.

The disappearance of the God of Reincarnation was not a small matter.

Without that god, the endless cycle of life and death could eventually collapse.

The God of Vision stood from his throne of light.

"Explain everything from the beginning," he said.

The Old One nodded calmly.

"I was observing the soul cycle as usual," he began."For a moment… the flow stopped."

Several gods gasped.

"Stopped?" one asked.

"For how long?" another demanded.

"Three breaths," the Old One replied.

The chamber erupted again.

"That should be impossible!"

"The system is protected by divine law!"

Min Ling stepped forward slightly.

"And that's not all."

The room grew quiet again.

The Old One continued.

"While stabilizing the cycle, I saw something in the void."

The God of Vision's eyes narrowed.

"What kind of presence?"

The Old One's voice became serious.

"A figure."

The gods leaned closer.

"Purple… and watching the cycle."

A heavy silence fell across the chamber.

One of the elder gods whispered,

"A being inside the void itself…"

Min Ling crossed his arms nervously.

"That's what worries us."

Another god asked,

"And the God of Reincarnation?"

The Old One shook his head.

"No trace."

The tension in the room grew even heavier.

If a god responsible for an entire cosmic system could disappear…

Then something powerful was interfering with the balance of existence.

The God of Vision slowly sat back down.

"This matter may be beyond the authority of this council."

Min Ling frowned.

"What do you mean?"

Before anyone could answer—

The entire chamber suddenly trembled.

A vast light flooded the hall.

Every god immediately stood.

Min Ling felt his knees weaken under the pressure.

"…That presence."

He knew who it was.

A voice echoed through the endless chamber.

Calm.

Ancient.

Absolute.

"I have heard enough."

The Supreme One had arrived.

Every god bowed their heads.

Even the Old One lowered his gaze respectfully.

"My lord," he said.

The Supreme One spoke again.

"The disappearance of the God of Reincarnation… is not an accident."

The council froze.

Min Ling whispered,

"Then… someone caused it?"

"Yes."

The voice continued.

"And the answer lies within the mortal realm."

The Old One looked up slightly.

"You want someone to investigate?"

The Supreme One answered immediately.

"Yes."

The chamber waited.

Then the voice spoke again.

"Old One."

"Yes, my lord."

"You will descend to the mortal world."

Min Ling's eyes widened.

"You mean—?"

"You will be reborn."

The chamber erupted into shocked whispers.

"A being like him… as a human?"

"That is madness!"

But the Supreme One's voice silenced them all.

"You will be reborn on Planet Lu-Men, Sector 91908."

A map of the cosmos appeared above the chamber.

The Old One looked at it and chuckled softly.

"Oh… that world."

Min Ling blinked.

"You know it?"

"Yes," the Old One replied.

"It lies very close to the Demon Realm."

A nervous ripple spread through the council.

The Supreme One continued.

"You will begin again from zero."

Min Ling stepped forward in disbelief.

"Zero? Even his god-level power?"

"Yes."

The Old One sighed slightly.

"Well… that will certainly be inconvenient."

But his eyes showed a strange curiosity.

The Supreme One then spoke the final condition.

"You will lose all memories of this place."

Min Ling froze.

"Wait… what?"

The Supreme One finished the sentence.

"Until the age of ten."

The Old One nodded calmly.

"Understood."

Min Ling clenched his fists.

"…Master."

The ancient watcher turned toward him.

"Do not worry," the Old One said quietly.

"This may simply be the beginning of a new story."

Above him, a vortex of light slowly began to form.

His reincarnation had begun.

And far away…

On Planet Lu-Men, destiny was already waiting.
