Keifer'sPov:
Jayjay was sleeping so peacefully on the other end of the mattress that I didn't want to wake her up. We were still in our "head-to-foot" positions from last night. Somehow, in her sleep, she had kicked her blanket off. I carefully used my foot to push the blanket back over her so she wouldn't catch a cold.
She is so cute, yet so dangerous. I remember how she used to beat me up whenever I messed with her. Even if it's her fault she kicked the blanket, she'll definitely blame me in the morning. I know this girl very well. I think I'm falling for her, and I won't deny it now. This girl is the only one who matters to me. I'll make sure I always protect her. I watched her sleep for a moment, then I closed my eyes and went back to sleeping.
Ella's Pov:
I woke up and looked around. Everyone was still sleeping. Then I turned toward Jay's mattress. Omg, what am I seeing? Jayjay and Keifer were sleeping head-to-foot, but they were sharing the same long blanket, and both of them had their arms crossed exactly the same way. It looked like they were a team even while dreaming!
I pushed Freya, and as she woke up, she was about to say something until I signaled for her to be quiet. Then I pointed at the "Halal" blanket setup. She covered her mouth in shock, trying not to laugh at how ridiculous—but cute—it looked. I gestured for her to wake the others, and she did. They were all about to scream when we both put our fingers to our lips. They nodded, and then I stepped aside to show them what was going on. They all gasped.
"Omg," Rakki whispered. Mica covered her mouth and Rakki nodded, then Mica let go.
"I have a plan," Grace said, and we all leaned in. "So, first of all, we will put some flower petals on them. Then, we will hide our phones while they are recording. Finally, we will play a romantic song so loud that they'll wake up!"
Freya smacked her head. "Idiot, where do you think we will get flower petals from?"
"There are some in the fridge," Aries said. Grace immediately smacked Freya's head back.
"Great," Mica said, a little too loud, and we all went, "Shhhhh!"
We decided to prank them. We put flower petals all over the gap between them and played a romantic song on full blast!
Jayjay'sPov:
Who the hell played that song?! I bolted upright, my head spinning. I saw Keifer waking up at the other end of the mattress, looking just as confused.
"Ohhhhhhhh!" they all shouted, coming out from behind the curtains.
"SHUT UP!" I yelled, seeing the flower petals everywhere.
"No, why should we?" Rakki asked in a teasing tone.
"Ohhh, someone was sharing a blanket with her fiancé!" Calix joked.
"We were at opposite ends!" I screamed, my face turning red.
"Ohhh, I'm definitely telling Percy about this. Ella, send me the video; I'll send it to Percy!" Aries said.
"WHAT THE HELL!!!!! You guys took videos?!" I yelled.
"You both were looking so cute, so we decided to do it," Grace said, making a cute face but clearly smiling.
"DELETE THEM!" I yelled, lunging toward Aries. He held the phone high so I couldn't reach it. I know I'm short, but this isn't fair! "This is cheating! You know I'm shorter than you!" I said, jumping to grab the phone, but I couldn't get it.
"It's not my fault that you're short," Aries teased. But then, the phone was suddenly gone from his hand.
Wait—where did the phone go? I stopped jumping and turned around to see who took it. Then, I saw exactly who it was.
Keifer had the phone and was clicking something on it. It wasn't Ella's phone; it was Aries' phone.
"Keifer, delete the videos!" I said. I ran toward him and looked at the screen; he had deleted them all.
"You guys are insane. I was sleeping with my fiancé, and you don't need to tease her about that. Next time, we will just sleep in the room. You guys tease too much," he said. Wait, what did he just say? Next time? No way!
"Ohhhhhhh!" they all cheered.
"So there will be a next time?" Freya teased.
"SHUT UP!" I yelled. I turned to Keifer. "There will be no next time! And did you actually delete them?" I asked.
"Yeah, only one pic is left," he said. But then Aries snatched the phone back.
"I'll restore them!" Aries said, waving the phone in the air.
"I deleted them from the 'Recently Deleted' bin, too," Keifer said in a flat tone.
They all sighed, disappointed, and finally left the room. Only Keifer and I were left. He turned to me with a smirk. "I told you I'd shut them up. And don't worry—I sent the pictures and videos to myself, so I have them now," he said, making me frown.
"But why?!" I asked.
"To tease you," he said, then he turned and ran away. I threw a cushion at him, but I was smiling and blushing... and I don't even know why.
I went directly to my room to freshen up, then I headed downstairs. All the girls were already at the table, but the boys were nowhere to be seen. The girls just looked at me, biting their lips to keep their laughter from bursting out. I knew they were just remembering that scene again. I sat down beside them.
"So... will there be a next time?" Mica asked.
"No!" I snapped.
"Oh, I think there will be, because your FIANCÉ said so," Ella teased.
"Do you really think I'm going to listen to him?" I asked, annoyance written all over my face. "Anyway, why are you all sitting here? Where are the boys?"
"Oh, they said they wanted to cook. They told the maids to do other work because they are going to make breakfast," Rakki said casually.
"Wait, NO!" I yelled.
"Why?" Grace asked.
"Because last time Percy and Aries said they would make tea, they ended up burning the stove!" I said, starting to panic.
"Wait, I'll just go and check," I said. They all nodded, and I rushed to the kitchen. Suddenly, I slipped. I was about to hit the floor when someone caught me by the waist—it was KEIFER.
I immediately pushed him away and stood up straight. "Who poured dish soap on the floor?!" I demanded. They all pointed at Calix.
"Sorry," he muttered and went back to washing the dishes.
"You guys can't cook," I said flatly.
"And why not?" Keifer asked.
"Because once, Percy and Aries said they were going to make tea and they BURNED THE STOVE!" I yelled. Aries looked away. "Look, the stove is still black!"
They all turned to look at the scorch mark. Some of them started whistling to look innocent, while others looked away. I just slapped my own forehead. "All men are the same. I can't trust any of you! What if the house goes on fire this time?" I asked dramatically.
"You're overthinking; nothing is going to happen," Keifer said calmly.
"Yeah, and last time it was Percy's fault. He put the empty pot on the stove," Aries defended himself.
"You were there! You could have stopped him, but no, you didn't," I argued.
"Okay, Ms. Drama Queen. Now go. It's all on me; I promise nothing will burn," Keifer said. Before I could say another word, he gripped my shoulders, steered me out, and locked the kitchen door.
"Wow," I muttered under my breath.
"So, what did they say?" Freya asked as I walked back to the table.
"Keifer said that nothing will happen, so I should just leave and stop being dramatic—as if I was even being dramatic," I said casually, sitting down.
"Oh, so Keifer assured you?" Mica asked, and I nodded absent-mindedly.
"OMG!" Rakki exclaimed.
"What?" I asked.
"You actually came back just because he assured you?" Ella asked.
"No, I didn't 'come back,' he pushed me out!" I said, starting to fidget with my fingers.
"Okie," they all said in unison. One by one, they started heading to the washroom to freshen up.
I do trust Keifer's word... but why? And I don't know why I felt so safe in his arms last night. Why didn't he wake me up? I hate that I'm constantly thinking about him. Maybe I'm falling for him... no, no, I can't be.
Now all the girls were back, and we were talking when the kitchen door suddenly opened. Danzel came out first, carrying two plates, and sat next to Grace. I figured one was for him and one was for her. Great—now all the boyfriends were going to bring out the breakfast.
Next came Calix with two plates; he sat between Danzel and Mica. Then came David, who sat next to Freya, followed by Yuri, who sat next to Rakki . Finally, Aries came out and sat next to Ella, leaving one empty chair between us for Keifer. Then, he appeared—but why was he carrying three plates?
We have a long table, so we were sitting like this:
Grace. Jayjay
Danzel. Keifer
Calix. Aries
Mica. Ella

Yuri. David
"Here," Keifer said as he placed two plates in front of me. One had my favorite chocolate pancakes, and the other had avocado—which is also a favorite of mine.
"Why does Jayjay have pancakes while we all have toast, avocado, strawberries, and bananas?" Ella asked, though I could definitely hear the teasing in her voice.
"Because she doesn't eat strawberries or bananas, and Keifer made her breakfast special," Aries said. I looked at Keifer, and he was watching me with a smile. I just raised an eyebrow at him.
"How do you know I love pancakes more than toast?" I asked.
"I just remembered it from our childhood. I hope you remember the pancake incident," he said. All my girls immediately looked at me, raising their eyebrows in unison.
"Later," I whispered to them, and they all nodded, ready for the gossip.
