After finishing grilling the rabbit and eating, Finnick rested for a moment before climbing down to the ground. He made two stone pots, a few wooden bowls, spoons, alongside chopsticks to bring back.
As for the stone vat, it was too heavy, so he could only leave the vat at the base of the tree. He then carved a wooden lid to cover it.
After scooping water to fill the vat, Finnick took advantage of the time before sunset to gather some more dry firewood along with wild vegetables. The sky just turned dark when he returned home. Finnick started a fire, took a leftover piece of grilled rabbit meat to pound into pieces, then put the meat into the pot to cook with some wild vegetables. This made a simple meat soup to feed Ryder.
