Synopsis
A mysterious disaster known as “Honkai” has begun to erode the world. Humans infected by Honkai lose all reason, becoming mindless beings that exist only to destroy—known as “Deadwalkers.” Alongside them, massive monsters born from Honkai—“Honkai Beasts”—emerge, bringing catastrophic threats to the world. In a city where the same tragedy has been reenacted hundreds—thousands—of times like a stage play, Hikari Aoi reached out his hand toward Kallen Kaslana, who was walking toward her destined sacrifice. “Will you come with me?” “…Mm. I will.” What he received in return— Was the girl’s firm answer, And a smile that bloomed like a flower. Standing at the very pinnacle of human power— The supreme overseer of Schicksal for over five hundred years— Otto Apocalypse looked at Hikari Aoi with absolute confidence and authority. “You managed to make Theresa awaken, and even caused Fu Hua and Rita to deviate from my plans—” “That much was within my expectations.” “However… if that is all you can do—” “In the end…” “I still hold more trump cards.” Hikari Aoi let out a soft sigh.

Chapter 1 - The Only Boy in the Class

Nagazora City, located in the Far East, was a major trade hub that gathered elites from all over the world—a world-class metropolis and one of the most important centers of finance, economy, and technology. As a rising new city, it was also a prime destination for investment and development by international corporations and powerful consortiums.

When Hikari Aoi had just transmigrated into this world, hearing the name "Nagazora City" only gave him a faint sense of familiarity. Yet for a moment, he couldn't pinpoint where that familiarity came from. Since he couldn't figure it out, he simply let it go—after all, there were many other things he needed to deal with.

With a relaxed mindset, Hikari Aoi set aside his curiosity and first tried to understand the role he was supposed to play. Then, leaving the unexpectedly luxurious student dormitory, He found himself standing in a classroom…. As he listened to the teacher delivering routine instructions for the new semester, he silently began thinking about his future.

On his way from the off-campus dormitory to the school earlier, Hikari Aoi had seen many buildings filled with a strong sense of advanced technology. Even without knowing their specific functions, he could tell that the technological level here was higher than that of the world he had come from.

In other words, he wouldn't be able to rely on his not-so-extraordinary knowledge base to gain any real advantages.

As for the "golden finger" that transmigrators were supposed to have—although Hikari Aoi had heard a strange electronic sound, like something heavy swaying, when he first woke up—that was all. Nothing else had happened since.

Lost in thought about his life, Hikari Aoi didn't notice that his classmates were sneaking glances at him from time to time. Meanwhile, the teacher at the front stopped her lengthy speech, scanned the classroom, and finally fixed her smiling gaze on Hikari Aoi.

"Hikari Aoi, would you be willing to serve as class monitor?"

"Uh?"

Even though his mind had been wandering, Hikari Aoi clearly heard the teacher's words. Pulling his thoughts back, he looked up and met the eyes of the young and beautiful female teacher, who was openly expressing goodwill toward him. He felt puzzled.

He was currently in Class 1-A of Tachikawa Academy, at the very start of a new semester. The students didn't know each other yet, and the teacher likely didn't know them well either. Being able to match faces with names would already be impressive. Hikari Aoi couldn't understand why a teacher he had just met would want him to take on such an important position.

As a transmigrator with a decent knowledge base, Hikari Aoi had confidence in becoming a top student—but so far, he hadn't shown anything at all.

"Hikari Aoi, would you be willing to serve as class monitor?"

Perhaps thinking he hadn't heard the first time, the female teacher repeated herself. Normally, a teacher would scold a student for being distracted in class, but her voice now was unusually gentle—even gentler than before.

The teacher's suspicious attitude didn't make Hikari Aoi careless. Being called on, he stood up honestly and asked in confusion:

"Normally, shouldn't positions like class monitor be decided by a class vote?"

Hearing this, the teacher smiled and turned to the rest of the class.

"That's right. So, does anyone have any objections to Hikari Aoi serving as class monitor?"

"No~"

Dozens of female voices responded, each carrying different emotions but sounding pleasing together. Hearing them, Hikari Aoi finally noticed something he had completely overlooked until now.

"You see, Hikari Aoi, no one has any objections. As the only boy in the class, the position of class monitor naturally belongs to you."

In a class of over thirty students, he was the only male.

Had he ended up in a girls' school?

Looking at the cheerful girls around him, Hikari Aoi fell silent for a moment before nodding.

"Alright."

In Hikari Aoi's original understanding, there were indeed some university majors where only one boy would be in a class full of girls. Aside from the pleasant feeling of being surrounded by beauties, that lone boy would also have to shoulder many responsibilities—any physical labor would fall on him, sports events would require his participation, and so on.

Having become the class monitor through unanimous agreement, Hikari Aoi had already prepared himself for a busy academic life.

But the reality was the exact opposite.

He wasn't assigned any tasks at all. Even the school uniform—which students were supposed to pick up themselves—was delivered directly to him by female classmates.

The treatment, like being surrounded by stars around the moon, left him speechless.

Had he come to a world where men were extremely scarce? The way these students looked at him felt… a bit off.

During the break, Hikari Aoi pretended not to notice the classmates secretly observing him. Acting as if nothing was wrong, he casually asked about the number of male students in the school.

"The number of boys? As far as I know, you're the only male in our class, Class Monitor. Students from other classes are super jealous. But you mustn't let yourself be taken away by them! Aside from going to the restroom, we'll handle everything for you. Unless absolutely necessary, please don't leave the classroom or step outside our protection."

Hearing such bold and suggestive words from a sweet-looking girl, Hikari Aoi was stunned.

"…As class monitor, shouldn't I at least do things like collecting homework?"

"No need! After collecting homework, you'd have to take it to the office. What if you ran into someone with bad intentions and got kidnapped on the way? Please just stay seated, Class Monitor. If you want to demonstrate your value, simply being here boosts everyone's learning efficiency by ten times!"

The surrounding students all nodded in strong agreement. Seeing their expressions, Hikari Aoi couldn't help but feel suspicious.

This couldn't be one of those worlds, right?

A world where, as the only—or extremely rare—male, he would be fought over by countless women… or even reduced to a tool for reproduction.

…Just thinking about it was a little exciting.
