"The most special memory for Joshua? Wouldn't it be when you made him cry for the first time, Lili?" Lia playfully remarked, taking a bite of her cookie.
Somehow, she appeared quite thrilled.
To be precise, she had worn that same expression ever since I revealed my intention to propose to Joshua.
I let out a soft sigh.
"That's probably a memory he'd rather forget, not a special one, Lia..."
"For you or Josh?"
‘Both.’
I rolled my eyes, a faint smile gracing my lips.
"Or how about the time you suggested to Joshua to add Fairy's Fluff to his juice?"
"Are you just trying to tease Josh, Lia?"
"You're the one I want to tease, Lili," Lia responded with an affectionate smile, her emerald eyes glistening with mischief.
As the gap between us closed, Lia became more open in her interactions with me.
It was like adding a new dimension to our relationship.
