"It seems like my mana got all mixed in there."
Allen, his eyes fixed on the front of the letter, tilted his head and muttered. I finally lifted my gaze and observed Julianne, who held the notice containing the details.
‘This is the first time I've seen Lia so serious. She wasn't even this focused during meetings with Michael.’
"...Your mana isn't the only one that got mixed up," Julianne blurted out quietly.
‘Maybe it's because I've inhabited Lilianne’s body. If I had known, I wouldn't have given her the notice. Nah, she would have found out anyway... I'm still nervous though. What if Julianne finds out? I'm not emotionally prepared for that!’
"Lili, are you alright?" Aiden, with his small hands, grabbed mine and asked, his golden eyes fixated on the end of the notice I held.
‘He probably thinks I'm upset because of the pending decision. Such a cute little thing,’ I thought to myself, nodding slowly.
"Uh-huh, I'm fine," I assured him.
