A few days later—
Rudra's patience finally snapped.
Files flew across his office as he lost control. Gathering his remaining powers, he lifted himself into the air.
The entire building began to tremble violently.
"Sir, you shouldn't show this kind of anger in front of humans," Atul said nervously."Your powers could bring this entire building down."
Rudra's eyes glowed red with fury.
"You care so much about these filthy humans?" he snarled."Then go and bring that girl to me!"
"I did not come to Earth just to reside inside a human body!"
Atul froze, his mind racing for a solution.
Then suddenly—
He had an idea.
"My Lord… we have already checked ninety-nine percent of the girls," he said carefully."I will find the remaining one percent. After that… we can examine them."
Rudra slowly descended back to the ground. The building stopped shaking.
"That sounds reasonable," he said."But how will you do it? Finding that one percent—with their identities—is not simple."
Atul smirked slightly.
"Leave that to me, My Lord. Humans may look simple… but they are extremely cunning."
"I can hack into the government system. I will retrieve the names, addresses—even faces—of every girl in this city."
"Just give me a few hours."
Meanwhile…
The divine being sent from Heaven had already made his move.
When Riya's brother, Anurag, was shot during an attack—
The celestial being entered his body…
And brought him back to life.
Inside the hospital—
Anurag suddenly sat up.
"Bhaiya! Are you okay?" Riya rushed to him, her eyes filled with tears.
"They said the bullet hit near your heart… there was no hope left."
"But I trusted God… He wouldn't let anything happen to you. You're all I have in this world."
Before he could respond, a nurse rushed in with a doctor.
"Doctor, his vitals suddenly spiked," she explained.
"How are you feeling?" the doctor asked.
"Perfectly fine," Anurag replied calmly."Prepare my discharge."
The doctor was about to protest—
But Anurag raised his hand, silencing him.
Then he turned to Riya.
"You should go home. There's no need for you to stay here."
Before she could argue, he walked into the bathroom and changed his clothes.
I need to find my brother, he thought.
Back to Rudra…
Atul had done it.
He found the remaining one percent of girls who had not attended the event.
One by one—
They began checking each of them.
But still…
Rudra's Cinderella remained missing.
"This is the last girl, Sir," Atul said."If she's the one, our work is done."
"But if not… we may have to search in another city."
Across the street—
Abha had been watching them for a while.
The fifty thousand rupees Rudra had given her—
She still had them.
As if she had been waiting… for this exact moment.
She stepped forward.
At the same time—
Anurag located Rudra using his divine powers.
The moment he saw him—
He acted.
Controlling a speeding truck, he directed it straight toward Rudra.
Before Rudra could react—
Abha rushed forward.
She pushed both Rudra and Atul out of the way.
The truck roared past.
All three of them fell close together.
Anurag's entire plan—
Failed.
Rudra looked at Abha.
Then at the truck.
He instantly understood—
It had been controlled by magic.
But this girl—
Where had she come from?
"Do you always find excuses to touch me?" Rudra said irritably."Or have you made it your mission to break my bones?"
"Do you even know how painful a human body can be?"
Before he could finish—
Atul helped him up.
"Sir, are you alright? You don't need to pay attention to this human."
"Again with the 'human'?" Abha snapped.
"If I'm human, then so are you!"
"And how ungrateful can you be? I just risked my life to save yours—and you're blaming me?"
Rudra brushed the dust off his clothes.
He didn't have time to argue.
"Give me my checkbook," he ordered Atul.
He signed a blank check and handed it to Abha.
"This is a blank check. You understand what that means."
"Write whatever amount you want."
"Your favor is repaid."
"I never remain indebted to anyone."
"And next time—don't dare interfere in my matters."
For a brief second—
Abha thought she saw his eyes flash red.
Burning with anger—
She walked into her restaurant.
Rudra watched her closely.
Moments later—
She returned with her bag.
She threw the fifty thousand rupees straight at his face.
Then tore the check in front of him.
"You may be a millionaire… or even a king," she said firmly."But not every human is for sale."
"Remember that."
"People fight for their dignity—and I am one of them."
(At least now… I'll finally sleep in peace.)
She turned to leave.
Rudra… started laughing.
Abha stopped and turned back.
"Feeling proud now?" he said, stepping closer.
But she didn't move.
"You're just like my father," he continued."Pretending to be noble."
"If your dignity mattered so much… you shouldn't have come that day."
Abha smiled.
"I came to see arrogance," she replied calmly."And today… I finally saw someone acting like a 'king'—who isn't one."
She laughed lightly—
And walked back into her workplace.
"Let's go. Find the last girl," Rudra said coldly, getting into the car.
Atul hesitated for a moment.
He looked at Abha.
A doubt had formed in his mind.
That day—
Rudra hadn't touched her.
But seeing Rudra's rising anger—
He chose to stay silent.
Again—
Failure.
Failure after failure.
Rudra's rage kept growing.
First—
That girl threw money at his face.
And now—
Even the last girl was useless.
"Prepare to leave this place," Rudra ordered.
Atul lowered his head.
"My Lord… before that, may I say something?"
Rudra closed his eyes, trying to control his anger.
"Speak."
"We have checked every girl… except one."
Rudra's eyes opened instantly.
"Which girl?"
Atul hesitated.
"The one we met that morning…"
"The one you didn't touch."
