Anika's scream echoed through the forest… and then everything went silent.
Her body felt different.
Stronger… but strange.
She slowly lifted her hand—her fingers were trembling. Her heartbeat was loud, almost painful.
"What… is happening to me?" she whispered again.
The wolf in front of her didn't attack.
Instead, it stepped back… as if afraid.
Anika noticed something shocking.
She could hear everything.
The wind moving through the trees.
Leaves falling miles away.
Even the heartbeat of the wolf standing before her.
Her eyes widened.
"This… this is not normal…"
Suddenly, a sharp pain hit her again.
She held her head and screamed.
Memories… flashes… something unknown rushed into her mind.
A voice.
Deep and powerful.
"You are one of us…"
"No! I'm not!" Anika shouted.
The wolf growled softly… but didn't come closer.
Instead, it bowed its head.
Anika froze
"Why… is it bowing to me?"
Confusion filled her mind.
Before she could think more—
The wolf slowly started changing.
Its body twisted… bones cracking… fur disappearing…
Within seconds—
A man stood there.
Tall. Strong. Dangerous.
His eyes still glowing golden.
Anika's breath stopped.
"A… humanshe whispered.
The man looked straight at her.
"No," he said calmly.
"Not human. Alpha."
Anika stepped back in fear.
"Stay away from me!"
But he didn't move.
Instead, he said something that shook her completely—
"You are not human either."
Her heart dropped.
"No… that's not true…"
But deep inside… she felt it.
Something had changed.
Something irreversible.
The Alpha walked closer slowly.
"From today…" he said, his voice low and powerful,
"your life belongs to the moon."
Anika's eyes filled with fear.
And anger.
"I don't belong to anyone!" she shouted.
For a moment… silence.
Then—
A small smile appeared on his face.
"Let's see…" he said.
The moon shone brighter above them.
And far away…
Other wolves howled.
As if welcoming her.
