Victoria POV:
~At her family house~
I arrived at my parents house because they suddenly announced a immediate meeting.
I sat at the end of dinning table along side my stepsister that was a result of my father's cheating nature.
My father at the other end sat at the front with his side chick which Is now my stepmother ever since my mom died which was 15 years ago from now.
Then his voice rang through the dinning room
"the reason for the sudden meeting is just to inform you two girls that you will have to get ready for your engagement which is by this time next week by 12pm" he said
The sudden words which came out from his mouth made me speechless and some how broken.
"What is that supposed to mean, how will you just say that we should prepare for an engagement that we were not properly informed and even so I'm too young for marriage" Anna said with a mocking tone.
Immediately I stood up picked my bag and told them that I can not get engaged and as I was about to leave, I heard my father's voice saying
"if you leave here now don't bother coming back"
I was shocked and almost wanted to laugh but I held myself.
"What, if I go no there is nothing you can do "
I said looking at his face in a mocking way before further saying
"when have you ever treated me like your daughter and I sorry to say even though I'm not sorry but you see whatever marriage alliance you made you better go cancel it now before you embarrasse yourself old man"
He then stood up and said" if I don't come next week that I should not bother fighting for any inheritance "
" Oh so that is what you what to use as bait well let me make it clear to you old man you see all this property and the Raymond's group belongs to my mom and I have every right over every thing, every single cent involved" I said with anger in my eyes, I had reached my boiling range .
Well you all might be wandering why I probably hate my father well let assume it was you that you mom died from brain cancer just because your father was could not bring the money for treatment even tho he was the top 10 richest and then your mom passed away that same week of her burial he came home with a woman and a girl saying that she's going to be your younger sister and your new mom how you going to feel.
He looked at me and has he was about to speak which I cut he up saying
"oh old hag shut it, don't forget that after mom's burial you came back with this side chick of yours beside you and this little viper"
I then paused breathed and scanned everyone around which were looking at me with tension and disbelief.
"well I'm here to tell you that you can't do nothing to me and also the young, navie and dumb girl is dead and a new Victoria is here for war and war alone and also let this stick to your good for nothing brain that I'm pregnant"
The room was dead silent before my father stood up and went close to me with anger in his eyes and slapped me.
"you better remove that stupid in your belly or else forget that your were once a daughter of this family"
I let out a loud laugh and a stared at him for some seconds before finally saying "fine I am no more your daughter and I cut ties with this family full of fools and also for your information I want all my shares and properties given to me by my mother or get ready to face legal authorities"
He then fainted and I left the cursed house straight to my house which I ate, bathed and slept preparing for the day ahead before sleeping I gently put my hand on my stomach and said
"mommy is going to be the best mom every for you dear and you will be my little treasure"
I then slept with a smile which was the most genuine smile that has come to my face for about 15year ever since my mom died.
