Chapter 44 - She screamed destruction, and it followed

She raised her swords up. Then threw out a tidal wave of both positive and negative energy. Lynix jumped up and then a wall of stone shot up from the earth to block her. She hopped on top of her stone wall and screamed down.

"DON'T YOU DARE CLAIM TO BE SOME DESTROYER! You have no factors of destruction! You haven't ever met his mightyness, god of this universe, Ryiam!"

"Pff- god? I've killed one before. To me, just a few minutes ago I crushed a god in my hands." The woman laughed as the world shook around us.

A magic unseen in this world radiated from her swords. Her body wasn't natural either, not magic, not physical, not a dragon. She stood out more than anything else had ever.

Lynix trembled. The woman jumped up and exchanged a few attacks with Lynix. Building sized pools of sheer karma nearly missed Lynix. Lynx's scythe flicked around pushing the sword away. The extreme size of the magic almost vaporized her if she wasn't careful.

Lynix trembled and shot up another stone wall and stood on it pointing down. My cripled body shivered seeing it again, the difference.

"We've already lost. Our plan unfortunately failed, so I'll leave. In exchange for not killing you." Her magic wasn't magical in any way. "Don't tell a soul about Lynix Azulé. Or the will of God Ryiam will be upon you."

She hopped off the stone wall and disappeared. The stone wall came down and the forest came into view. My magic had long gone out, so did the fire in the forest.

"Welp, we almost died?" The woman crossed her arms, walked over to me, then she crouched and hung out a hand. "I think my bluff scared her." The woman smiled. "Hello Mr. Heo Estellé. My name is Heo Primé. Just call me Primé, or we'll get confused, Estellé."

I would have shook her hand, but I fell unconscious.

I woke up in a hospital bed. A sight I was extremely familiar with. A special form of pure magic flew directly into me with an IV needle in my arm. I glanced around the room. Most hospitals were the same. I sat up in my bed looking to my left and saw a mirror.

A girl, with wavy sandy blonde hair and orange eyes stared back at me. Something was odd though. My eyes, the same half diamond shape with three protruding points shown in my eyes. No through them. The shape shown on my eyelid and moves with my iris. I had remembered some fear looking at it on the ground, but now, nothing.

I went up to touch my eye, this time, I just quickly blinked away. Once it didn't sting I looked at my finger. This time it wasn't cut. I had just touched my eye instead.

"Stella…" I moved, turning off the bed.

"Woah! Let's not move too much yet, Estellé." That white haired girl's voice spoke from somewhere so I turned, looking for her. "I'm in your head idiot."

"Who are you?"

She popped out of my body and landed on the edge of the bed. Her right eye was red and left was blue now. Her horns were all black this time as well.

"I was kinda in the moment so I did say Destroyer." She scratched her head. "But don't call me that. It's Heo Primé."

What? She did look like me. I leaned in, inspecting her. How would she have the Primé last name?

"Hey." She pulled back.

I moved closer. I guess I never considered another family had the name now. My thumb and index squeezing my chin together.

"Hey!" She moved back again, her face warming up.

Is universal being a person that I just threw out? I moved closer, looking at her four eyes, half blue, half red.

She smacked me. I only felt her move my head though.

"Stop!"

"Uhh alright?" I scratched my head. "How are you, Primé and Heo?" Squinting my eyes. "And me?"

"It's cheating to really explain. Especially when it's obvious."

"Universal being?" I leaned back against the bed.

"Obviously. I'm you."

"Oh, so future me?"

"No, there is a future you but I'm not it. All I'll tell you is that I'm the past you and a part of universal being. I just thought I would give you the courtesy to let you know what I did while you were out."

"Where is Stella?" I immediately asked.

"She's with the, uh…" She tilted her head. "Queen."

"She's alright?"

"Yes."

Undescribably, I felt my body soften. My mind fell still for a second.

"Your friends should all be fine in this hospital with you." She patted my shoulder. "Now, I'm gonna go back to nothing so have fun, Universal Being." Her eyes sunk in a bit.

Her hand became intangible and her entire body fell into mine. Before too long she was gone. Something I didn't know I lost returned to me, a decent portion of my overall magic.

Nurses shortly came in after she disappeared. They check me over. I didn't have any wounds to check, they had already been healed by a strong healer, I just had extreme magic sickness. They released me.

Thinking to myself I built a plan in my head. First check on Stella. Regroup with everyone who was on that mountain last night and then…

"Make sure it was someone else who delivered the final blow."

I glanced up at the mountain in the distance. Primé must have dragged five people on her back to that hospital. Monstrous strength. I slid my backpack to the side of me. She even had the time to grab the backpack.

That's just another level of strength. I slid my hand into the back pack. It felt lighter than normal. My hand disappeared into the bag and I found something odd.

I continued to walk and slowly pulled out what I felt. My feet wobbled, I pulled out the sword Baydí was using just at the end from my backpack.

"WHAT THE!" A handful of people turned to me in the streets, throwing a mixture of faces. "Haha…" I threw the sword back in and zipped it to the end.

I continued to walk a bit faster now. Starting to skip and run to the castle, but remembering not to have a death grip on my sword this time.

The streets slowly produced more and more people as I ran. It's so against Fayha to be inside all the time. Though I felt so indescribable that I didn't know my body. Things around me felt stranger than they always were.

The giant middle tower of the castle became clearer and clearer as I ran. The wind pushed onto me slightly. The terror of what was physical and magical caressed my body. It took too long to notice my head was spiraling. I focused on so many small things as I went towards Stella.

Was that the guild? Was that the church? Was that the hotel? Was that KeiKei's restaurant? I shivered. Did I look like Āpala? Sweat seemed to come off my body, though I didn't need sweat to cool my body because of my resistance.

I panted and ran. I couldn't understand what was wrong with me, so I just ran and pushed it down.

When I got there it didn't take long for Jace to see and come up to me.

"Heo!"

"Jace. I was just looking for you."

Instead of replying, Jace hugged me in a suffocating bear hug.

"Wha-"

Again, I felt how I did when primé told me Stella was alright. Even stranger, I didn't want to fight the hug. My instinct was gone.

"How do you get yourself in those situations?"

"Uhh… luck? Where's Stella?"
