The battlefield grew quiet again, but it was no longer the same silence as before. It carried meaning now. Rahim stood still, his breathing steady, his presence more controlled than it had ever been. He was no longer reacting to the system or the presence beyond it. He was moving alongside it, understanding it from within rather than opposing it from outside.
That was when the shift happened.

The presence observing him changed.
Rahim felt it clearly. The attention that had been distant and measured became focused. Not aggressive, not hostile, but aware in a different way.
He had crossed something.
Not a boundary of power.
A boundary of understanding.
