Chapter 76 - Chapter 76: The Beginning of Collapse

The battlefield trembled.

Not from destruction.

But from instability.

The system was still active.

Still present.

Still trying to maintain control.

But something had changed.

Rahim could feel it.

The connection between the enforcers, the space, and the system itself was no longer perfectly aligned. It wasn't broken, but it wasn't absolute anymore either.

A flaw had appeared.

Small.

But growing.

"You are destabilizing the structure," one of the enforcers said.

Rahim tilted his head slightly.

"…Good."

The response came without hesitation.

Because that was exactly what he wanted.

The next attack came faster than before.

Not because the enforcers had improved—

But because they were compensating.

Trying to regain control.

Rahim moved to meet it.

This time, he didn't hold back.

The clash shook the space around them, the impact sending cracks through the ground and distortions through the air itself. The system reacted instantly, trying to repair the damage, trying to restore order.

But Rahim didn't let it.

Every movement he made pushed against that restoration, interfering with it, preventing it from completing fully.

It wasn't just a fight anymore.

It was interference.

"You are resisting correction," the enforcer said.

Rahim exhaled slowly.

"…No."

A pause.

Then—

"I'm changing it."

The words settled into the battlefield like a declaration.

Not loud.

Not dramatic.

But absolute.

The enforcers moved again, all five this time, their formation tightening as they prepared to forcefully restore control.

Rahim watched them.

Calm.

Focused.

Unmoving.

Then—

He stepped forward.

The darkness followed.

Not as power.

But as alignment.

The moment he crossed into their formation—

Something broke.

Not visibly.

Not instantly.

But undeniably.

The system hesitated.

Again.

And this time—

It lasted longer.

Rahim felt it.

Understood it.

And smiled.

"…So this is where it starts."

The enforcers reacted immediately, their movements accelerating, their attacks becoming more aggressive.

But it was too late.

The perfect structure they had relied on—

Was no longer perfect.

And that was enough.
