The blue guy moved closer. A ray of light glowed from him as stars shone in the night sky. Lucan was now covered with a layer of armor-like protection; it used cosmic energy to create a suitable environment for him inside. He walked out.
Now that there was no trouble for him, the blue guy said, "Such a fragile being. You cannot even bring out a cluster of cosmic energy. How will you even go beyond this galaxy?"
Lucan walked ahead and said, "No worries, I can train myself accordingly. But a doubt is clouding my mind; would you clarify it?"
The blue guy said, "Speak."
Lucan asked, "How was it that I was able to survive inside the spaceship without cosmic energy armor?"
The blue guy sighed and said, "We encounter numerous missions from our Lord; we have to go to plenty of planets and stars. Therefore, inside this spaceship, conditions are established so that any type of creature living inside the Milky Way galaxy can survive."
Lucan's eyes widened. He took a piece of paper from his bag and gave it to the blue guy.
"This is—! This is—! Don't tell me... this is paper made from wood!" the blue guy exclaimed.
Lucan nodded his head. The blue guy stopped walking, and the others did too. They examined it and confirmed it was indeed paper. Lucan said, "In this vast space, trees are the rarest form of mineral, right?"
The blue guy nodded. He remembered that back on Earth, they had left hurriedly without even taking a proper look around. Lucan had even been hiding behind a bush near a tree. If the blue guy had looked properly, he would have immediately taken a bunch of trees with him.
He said, "A pity. Such rare material is wasted in the hands of your species!"
Lucan replied, "Yes. Earlier, there were more trees than the count of stars, but now we have destroyed a lot due to deforestation."
They opened the paper. It contained details on how to make the spaceship Lucan wanted. The blue guy said, "All these materials are available. We can easily make this spaceship, but only if you can come back alive from the Lord and get his permission! Hehe!"
Lucan grabbed the paper and said, "No worries, blue guy! I will get permission from your Lord easily." Hearing those words, the others started to laugh.
They reached their destination: a huge door covered in many symbols. A giant came out and asked, "Show your permits."
The blue guy showed him the permit, which contained direct orders from the Lord regarding their mission. The giant immediately opened the door without wasting a minute. They walked through and entered the place of the Lord.
To put it simply, if this were Earth, it would be described as the royal palace of a great king or emperor. There were pillars that seemed never-ending. Lucan touched one; it was made of diamond. He marveled at it. The floor glowed wherever he walked, and he played with the effect like a newborn child.
The blue guy said, "Did he hit his head somewhere or lose his senses?" He pulled him back using cosmic energy.
Lucan rejoined them. There were countless other structures that could not be described or put into words. They reached a point where a small, white, flying alien appeared before them. It looked as if a car had been combined with a bird; it was cute, small, and had wings.
Lucan went ahead, grabbed its tail, pulled it down, and took it in his arms. The others gulped at the sight, fear rising in their hearts. The blue guy shouted, "Idiot, put her down! She is the pet of the Lord's wife!"
Lucan said, "What? Your Lord is married already? I thought he was young. I will call you 'Cat'."
As this commotion progressed, another alien walked in. She was purple, her eyes shone like stars, and her gaze was as beautiful as a rose—but also as dangerous as its thorns. She called her pet. The "car-bird" responded by wiggling its ears, but it did not return to her. Lucan was playing with it like a normal cat on Earth. He patted her, and she enjoyed it just as much as a terrestrial cat would.
The purple alien came closer. She said, "Hmm, interesting. She seems to feel safe and comfortable in your hands. She likes you so much that she didn't even respond to my call."
Lucan was a bit startled. He asked, "Oh, who are you?"
The others were kneeling on the ground while he talked casually. The blue guy said, "Madam, forgive that creature's indolence. He is just a C-tier. With your permission, I will immediately execute him."
She used her cosmic energy and slammed his head down. Her aura suppressed everything in the surrounding area. She said, "You dare to hurt him? My pet likes him. He will be my guest. Don't lay a finger on him."
Lucan said, "Yo, can you teach me to control my cosmic energy? I should also trouble you to build me a spaceship."
The others felt an urge to slaughter him immediately but weren't daring enough to sacrifice their own lives. She said, "Of course. But first, come with me. I will take you to the guest room."
The blue guy said, "Madam, with your permission, may I say one thing?"
She replied, "Speak."
He said, "The Lord gave us a mission. This creature was the object of our mission. We must bring him to the Lord."
She hesitated and asked, "What? Are you speaking the truth?"
The blue guy said, "No need to trust us—ask the creature himself!"
Lucan replied, "Yes, their mission was to bring back a unique and interesting creature, which was me!"
She said, "No... usually anything brought to him from these missions is never returned. Even I cannot do anything."
Lucan smiled and said, "Chill. I will take care of this on my own."
She replied, "But—"
Lucan took his pinky finger and her pinky finger and made a "pinky promise." As she wondered what he was doing, he explained, "We call this a promise on Earth. Now, whatever one says will definitely happen. I have promised you I will return as your guest. Trust me. Now, I will take my leave."
He pulled the blue guy up and said, "Stand up, stand up! Come on, let's go. I made a promise; we shouldn't be late."
The blue guy didn't move. The Lord's wife said, "Follow his orders. That is my order," and she left.
They quickly stood up. Lucan walked forward while they remained standing still. Lucan said, "Come on, walk! Do I have to order you around every time?"
As they walked, he asked the blue guy, "Why are you suddenly respecting me? Is it because you're afraid of me? Hehe!"
The blue guy's rage rose. He said, "If not for the Madam's order, I would... damn it, I can't even say anything!"
Lucan enjoyed it. He was still doing something with his hands. They all peeked to see what it was... he was still holding the Lord's wife's pet!
