After completing the task, Mira walked straight toward Leon. And without hesitation she hugged him. The people around them except James froze for a second. This cheerful, clingy Mira felt completely different from the quiet woman they once knew.
But Leon was smiling. He was completely helpless against her. He lowered his head slightly and pressed a soft kiss against her cheek.
"So…" he murmured, still holding her close, "has Mira decided on her three wishes?"
Mira narrowed her eyes suspiciously and looked around.
"Why do I feel like I'm being played somehow?"
"No," Leon replied instantly, gently pulling her cheeks while her hands still clung to him. "Mira earned those wishes by helping me."
"Hmmm…" she hummed thoughtfully. "At first, my mind was completely blank…"
Then her eyes brightened.
"But I got ideas from the novel." Leon's smile stiffened slightly.
"The novel Finn gave you?"
"Yes!" Mira nodded happily, completely missing the subtle sourness that crossed Leon's face.
Everyone else noticed it immediately.
"My first wish," she declared proudly, raising one finger, "is going to an amusement park."
A second finger.
"Then… a proper date together."
And finally...
"Couple outfits!" She grinned brightly.
Leon looked at her quietly for a second before smiling again.
"Mira… I'll fulfill all three wishes."
A pause.
"But not the amusement park right now."
"Ahhh…" she whined immediately. "You promised me."
"Mira," he said patiently, brushing her hair behind her ear, "you just recovered."
His voice softened.
"If we go now, you won't even be allowed on most rides."
He leaned slightly closer.
"So how about at the end of this month?"
A faint smile.
"We'll go together."
Mira thought for a second before nodding happily. "Okkk."
"And about the date…" Leon continued. "You've already walked around so much today."
He looked genuinely concerned now.
"How about this Sunday? I'll plan everything."
"I…" Mira puffed her cheeks slightly. "I wanted to plan it."
Leon looked at her for a moment before surrendering immediately.
"Hmmm… then let's go on two dates."
Her eyes widened slightly.
"The first one will be my plan," he said. "So you can get familiar with places."
Then his lips curved softly.
"And the second week… you can plan ours."
"Yesss!"
Leon laughed quietly at her excitement. Then he gently pulled her along toward the hypermarket section.
"Now…" he said, glancing sideways at her, "about the last wish…"
He stopped near a shopping aisle and looked at her with an expression that almost seemed shy.
"Not just clothes." A faint blush spread across his cheeks.
"Let's get everything matching."
And from that moment, everything became pairs.
Toothbrushes, coffee mugs, phone covers, slippers, watches, nightclothes... even small keychains she found cute. Mira picked them excitedly, holding each item up for his approval.
And Leon followed silently beside her, carrying every basket.
