Chapter 10 - 10

A year passed on Dragon Ball Universe 6, and life on Planet Sadala had changed in ways none of them had expected. Ben Tennyson was no longer just a warrior who arrived from another world—he had become part of something much deeper.

When the time finally came, Kefla gave birth, and soon after, the fusion gently separated into Caulifla and Kale once again. Both of them were exhausted but alive, and more importantly, they were now mothers.

The child carried a unique presence—Saiyan blood mixed with something far more unusual. Even as an infant, the energy around the child was calm but deep, as if power was already resting beneath the surface.

Ben stood there quietly, holding the child for the first time. For once, there was no battle in his eyes, no hunger for growth—only a strange calmness, something new even to him.

Caulifla leaned back, still recovering, watching him with a tired but proud smirk. Kale stayed close, her gaze soft, focused on the child.

For a while, things were peaceful.

Training slowed down. Battles became less frequent. Time was spent together, adjusting to this new life.

But Ben… was still Ben.

Weeks passed.

Then one day, things took an unexpected turn.

Ben, now fully adjusted again, returned to his usual confident self. He approached Caulifla and Kale with that familiar look—the same one that usually meant either a challenge… or trouble.

Caulifla narrowed her eyes immediately. "Why do I feel like you're about to say something stupid?"

Ben scratched his head slightly, but didn't back down. "So… I was thinking…"

Kale tilted her head, curious but cautious.

"…about expanding the family."

Silence.

Absolute silence.

Caulifla stared at him for a full second.

Then another.

"…You WHAT?"

Her voice rose instantly.

Kale's face turned red, completely caught off guard.

Caulifla stood up, still weak but fueled by pure disbelief. "We JUST had a child! Literally just a month ago! And now you're thinking about THIS again?!"

Kale nodded quickly, flustered. "T-that's too soon…"

Ben raised his hands slightly, trying to explain. "I mean—Saiyans recover fast, and—"

"That's NOT the point!" Caulifla snapped, clearly annoyed, though not entirely serious beneath it.

Kale looked down, still embarrassed, but there was also a faint understanding in her expression. After all, their bond with Ben hadn't weakened—it had only grown stronger.

Caulifla crossed her arms, sighing heavily. "You're unbelievable…"

But after a moment, her anger softened slightly, turning into that familiar smirk. "At least wait a little, idiot."

Kale nodded shyly. "Y-yes… not so fast…"

Ben chuckled awkwardly. "Alright, alright… I get it."

Even though they scolded him, neither of them truly pushed him away.

Because despite the chaos, despite the fast pace, despite how ridiculous it all seemed—

They were still together.

Still connected.

And deep down, they all knew one thing.

Life on Planet Sadala was never going to be normal again.

Especially not with Ben around

Life didn't slow down on Planet Sadala, but it did change shape. After everything that had happened, Ben Tennyson found himself balancing two worlds at once, the battlefield where he kept growing stronger, and the quieter world he now shared with Caulifla and Kale.

At first, things were a little awkward after that argument. Caulifla still gave him looks from time to time, half annoyed, half amused, while Kale stayed close but a bit more shy than usual. But the tension didn't last long. That wasn't how Saiyans worked. They argued, they clashed, and then they moved forward.

One evening, Ben was training alone, his Super Saiyan 3 aura flickering briefly before he powered down again. Even now, controlling that level perfectly was difficult. The strain it placed on his body and energy was massive, and Cabba had warned him not to overuse it.

"You're overdoing it again."

Ben turned to see Caulifla approaching, arms crossed as usual.

"I'm just trying to stabilize it," he replied.

She stood beside him, looking at the ground he had cracked during training. "You already surpassed us. What's the rush now?"

Ben didn't answer immediately.

"…Because I don't know what's coming next," he said finally.

For once, Caulifla didn't joke.

She understood.

A moment later, Kale joined them quietly, carrying food again like she often did. She handed it to Ben, her small smile returning. "You should rest too," she said.

Ben nodded, taking it. "Yeah… I will."

The three of them sat together, the atmosphere calm again.

Days passed, and slowly, the balance returned. Training resumed, but now it included all three of them together again. Caulifla pushed aggressively as always, Kale supported with controlled power, and Ben adapted to both styles seamlessly.

But something else began to show.

Both Caulifla and Kale had started to feel different.

At first, it was subtle—fatigue that wasn't from training, moments of distraction, small changes in their energy. Kale noticed it first within herself, then quietly realized Caulifla was experiencing the same thing.

One day, while Ben and Cabba were sparring in the distance, the two of them stood together.

Caulifla looked down at her hand, then sighed. "…Don't tell me…"

Kale nodded softly, already understanding.

When they finally told Ben, his reaction was exactly what they expected.

He froze.

"…Wait. Both of you?"

Caulifla pointed at him immediately. "Don't act surprised! This is YOUR fault!"

Kale looked away shyly, but didn't deny it.

For a moment, Ben didn't know what to say.

Then he laughed softly, rubbing the back of his head. "Okay… yeah… that's on me."

Caulifla sighed, but there was no real anger left now. "You're unbelievable…"

But her tone wasn't harsh anymore.

Kale stepped a little closer, her voice gentle. "We'll figure it out… together."

Ben looked at both of them, then nodded seriously this time.

"Yeah. Together."

From a distance, Cabba watched the scene unfold, shaking his head slightly with a small smile. "He really changed everything…"

And he wasn't wrong.

Because now, Ben's life on Planet Sadala wasn't just about becoming stronger than everyone else.

It was about protecting something.

Building something.

A future that had grown far beyond what he ever expected when he first fell from the sky.

And deep down—

That responsibility would push him to even greater heights than power ever could.
