Chapter 23 - Transformers

Bonus Chapter for getting on the Top 200 list. If we pass into the top 100, I'll post another bonus chapter. (I'm dating this so future readers don't get confused. May 2nd 2026)

POV Rio

Infiltrating Stark Industries was easy. There really wasn't anything they could possibly do to detect me, let alone stop me, and as for Stane, well, some elephant laxatives in his coffee made him very busy. I did feel bad for whoever was the poor intern who had to clean up that mess. In any case, I got the files and all without so much as anyone besides Tony being aware of anything happening.

It was during this little perusal that I did take the time to look into the files, and from what I could tell, Stane had still developed the Iron Monger suit, though with far less time to get it up and running. The only other thing of note was something called Sector 7. Stane was in talks with this department to discuss a trade of some sort. It was only a single footnote, so I couldn't be certain what it meant, but that got me thinking.

'That sounds familiar. Let's take a quick trip.'

I apparated over to Nevada and took another peek at the Hoover Dam. This time I went inside and did some snoopin'. The security was decent. Better than Stark Industries for certain, but a bit weaker than Shield or the Continental Hotel. However, when I was inside, I saw something that made me not that happy.

'Fudgesicles.'

In a more secure part of the facility, in what can only be described as a massive fridge, was Megatron, the leader of the Decepticons. That caused me to immediately start accessing every computer and filing cabinet to learn how bad a situation this meant.

Several Hours Later...

'Okay... I can work with this.'

After reading all that Sector 7 had done with Megatron, I was thankful to know I wasn't in the exact same situation as the first Transformers Movie. The first difference was that Megatron was only moved to this facility in 1992 due to various reasons. This has caused some major changes, such as most technology on Earth not being based on a Decepticon. Not that it would be likely to happen anyway, as Hydra was the one who launched the technology race. Other than that, the Allspark was recovered by the US Government, but it wasn't a massive cube; it was the more handheld version seen at the end of the movie, and it wasn't here.

'But it doesn't say where it was sent, just that Top Men were the ones to deal with the problem. Top... Men.'

I wasn't sure how I would find it, but I decided to start with Area 51. Plus, I just kind of wanted to see what was inside. But before that, I dropped off the files at Tony's home and let Jarvis know where I left the files, and then teleported back to Nevada. Then flew right in while invisible.

'That was easy.'

The base was... pretty boring. It was basically the usual Air Force base. Nothing that interesting. It had a few experimental devices and planes, but none of them interested me that much. But when I found the storage room, things changed a bit, not by much as well... Shield exists, and most things I would find cool were likely swiped by them long ago. But I still found a few neat things. A box labelled Rubber Walrus Protection NEVER OPEN... I don't remember what was in it because I magically removed that memory from my mind, but I at least remember it was likely bad.

The next noteworthy thing I found was a box full of the ET Video Game, labelled for destruction. Then there was a box with a single ball inside. At first, I thought it was a replica of the Sovereign's Orb of the United Kingdom, but after looking at it with Truesight, I realised this thing was much better than that. The paper with it said it was called the Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch and was discovered in the chapel of Antioch by Seal Team Six on a mission.

'Cool.'

I took the grenade and kept it as a last resort sort of weapon. Never knew when you might need to smite someone. The other boxes mostly had ammo and other military supplies. That's not to say I didn't take them, just that they were not that interesting. The last box that carried anything of note was exactly what I was looking for. The Allspark was in a heavily fortified metal box that prevented it from leaking radiation.

The reason it was sent here in the first place was that Sector 7 had done extensive research on it, but after many tests, they found that the energy it emitted seemed to do nothing. They even tested it as a weapon or an energy source, but all results were inconclusive or nonexistent. And since they didn't want to expose people to an unknown radiation long term, they chose to seal it up and send it to Area 51, to be pulled out at a later date should it be needed.

'Yoink.'

Once I had the Allspark, I was good to leave. I didn't feel like exploring further as it didn't seem there was anything else of note in the base's logs. Shield really did take all of it. Though I did discover something interesting from the files I was reading through. Apparently, they had to turn over items to Shield in the past. And these items were sent to a place called The Box. Though it didn't specify where this box was, just that it was where the items went.

'I'll need to check out that place... If I can find out where it is.'

The next place I dropped by was the Witwicky house. Finding where they lived was easy. Sector 7 had it in their files as they kept a peripheral watch on the Witwicky family, just in case.

Knock Knock Knock

After a few minutes, a man opens up the door.

"Can I help you?" the man asks.

"Is this the Witwicky residence?" I ask politely.

"Who's asking?" the man asks.

"Hi, I'm a collector of historic items, and I was wondering if I may possibly buy some items from your family," I reply.

"Oh? Is this about my grandfather?" the man asks.

"Indeed, your grandfather made some impressive contributions to history," I reply.

"Ron? Who is it?" asks the man's wife.

"It's a guest, Trudy, please come in," Ron says while gesturing for me to come in.

"Thank you, I must say your lawn and garden are very well kept," I say with a kind smile.

"Oh, thank you, I try my best," Ron says with a wide smile.

I am taken to the living room, where I talk with Trudy while Ron goes upstairs to talk to his son about Archibald Witwicky's items left to them.

"Here's what we could find, are they what you were looking for?" Ron asks.

I look over the items and see the glasses.

"Yes, they are. I'll pay 10k for all of them," I say with a smile.

"T-Ten thousand? I-I, well," Ron says with a flustered look.

I start pulling out the cash.

"All in cash right now. I'm a collector, and while 10k might be overpaying a bit, I think that since they are in such good condition and they are family heirlooms, it's only right that I pay more for that," I explain.

"I... I accept. Thank you," Ron says with a smile and reaches out his hand.

I shake his hand, and once Ron is finished counting the money, I knock them all unconscious. I then start to edit their memories. Nothing too drastic. I just make them forget that Archibald Witwicky ever had glasses that were passed down. The rest is left alone, and then I wake them all up. They don't notice a thing wrong and thank me as I leave. I changed their memories to save them from danger later. The Decepticons won't find any leads that lead to the Witwicky family. And even if Megatron is released, they won't think to find the Witwicky family, since Megatron knows the last place the Allspark was.

It's not my fault that the Allspark was moved from the Hoover Dam to Area 51 and then into my inventory. Okay, so that last part was my fault, but the rest has nothing to do with me. As for finding the Autobots and giving them the Allspark. Not happening. They are way too weak to protect the Allspark. If I gave it to them, they would be liable to lose the damn thing or lose the war, and then that becomes Earth's problem to deal with.

'Hmm, maybe I should kill Megatron now.'

On one hand, it made sense, but on the other, I had to figure out how to kill him. I would really have one, maybe two shots at it before Megatron could react and kill me. Realistically, I had two, maybe three weapons that could kill Megatron. The Thermal Detonators, Plasma Grandes, and maybe the Pulse Grenades. It could work... But the question was whether or not I was willing to take the chance.

After a lot of thought the try around and find out method won. It was risky, yes, very much so. But if it succeeded, I could possibly remove a genocidal maniac from Earth, and without Megatron to lead them, the Decepticons would likely splinter. And I wouldn't leave anything to chance, I would take Megatron's corpse with me. If it failed, a lot of people would die. But I could use Magneto to step in and turn Megatron into a cube if it came to that.

'Though that would leave that Fallen fellow to possibly lead in Megatron's stead.'

But there was no way for me to stop that, as he was currently on a moon of Saturn, and I didn't have a spaceship. But it would be enough for now. If they really came around, I would think of something.

I teleported back to the Hoover Dam and went to Megatron's frozen prison. Entering wasn't an issue, as a few scientists would occasionally enter and do some scans and tests for a bit before leaving. When all the scientists left, I activated a program that would loop the camera feeds. Then I approached Megatron. He was massive. Around 30 or so feet tall. If I had to erase every part of him, then I wouldn't even consider attacking him, but thankfully, just like most organisms, if you destroy the head, they die.

I placed two Thermal Detonators, one in the plates on his face and one deep in his chest and set them on a timer, then I ran as far as I could while staying in the room and prepared to use the Plasma Grenades and even the Pulse Grenades if I needed to.

Wrrrrrr

I plugged my ears and cast a shield spell to guard me against any shrapnel, and then, to be extra sure, I put on the Mark III Katarn Armour. I didn't look away; instead, I had the helmet capture every second of it so I could be ready to attack if it was needed.

BOOM

The Thermal Detonators went off, and as the light faded, I was relieved to see Megatron was super dead. A massive hole was melted out in his chest, almost all the way through his torso, and his head just didn't really exist anymore. But after the initial damage, the second damage started as the rapid changes in temperature caused the metal across the body to start shattering. I stored every piece as quickly as I could as the guards of the base tried to force their way in. As soon as I had everything, I teleported away. Leaving an entire government department confused as to what in the world just happened.

'Whew, that was close. But hey, future problem solved. Though I'm not really sure when the Decepticons will learn of this or how they will react.'

Remember, buffing yourself before a boss fight or messing with a perfectly balanced game with no exploits is not wrong if you're doing it for a good cause.
