Claudia can be seen eating grapes and watching something on her phone,she is so engrossed that she didn't know when her mother entered her room and sat down . Martha stared at her daughter for a while before she coughed slightly to get her attention,
"What are you doing in my room mum?, you didn't even knock,what if I was butt naked?" Claudia yelled as she stood up and tossed her phone aside to look at Martha
"I have something important to discuss with you and you really need to listen to me"Martha said as she held Claudia's hand
"We are going bankrupt and we already have a plan in motion but we really need you to act your part" Martha dropped the bombshell
"What do you mean by this mum?,Is this your idea of a prank because it's really outdated, amateur and expensive,what do you mean by we are going bankrupt, we just went on a shopping spree yesterday,you just bought me my dream birkin so if you don't start talking now I will really flip out" Claudia yelled,her voice rising as her face held nothing but pure disgust
"No I'm not pranking you and yes we are going bankrupt and the earlier it is for you to process the better for everyone in this family so act right and listen to everything I want to say"Martha fired back
"Okay Mum you can go on,I want to listen to everything you have to say "
"That's more like it. We are currently on the verge of collapse but I have a plan, I once helped delivered two children the same day when I was still a midwife,one of the children was a stillborn so I had to switch them because the stillborn was a child of a cartel family and the other child belonged to my Cousin who I despise with everything in me,she stole my life so I want to make her miserable by telling her that her baby died "
"Mum I don't really know how you switching some children will help us avoid bankruptcy but you should really continue " Claudia said with an eyeroll
" You should really listen to me before you interrupt me. well, your Dad and I went to the Mafia family to tell them that you were switched with their daughter and if they really test their DNA with her it will naturally come out as negative because she isn't their daughter "
"So what if they test mine?"
"You don't have to worry about that, you just have to act your part,I have everything in place and I'm just waiting for anyone from their family to reach out to us,I have prepared everything and they are all believable and authentic". Martha said smiling to herself with a sinister look .

She knew things that ordinary people don't and that was her trump card or so she thought. She knew the lengths they would go to protect their own.

"What are you planning,your face is telling me something that I don't want to believe Cassidy,I'm your mother and I will protect you with everything in me so don't do anything stupid young lady" Claire Jordon said over the table as everyone was having dinner
"I bet she's still thinking about that shrew and her husband"Ken said replied as he stuffed meat in his mouth
"I'm not thinking about them because they are important or anything, I'm having the thought of making them penniless and homeless as soon as I can" Cassidy replied while taking a sip of water." I don't really care if they are my biological parents or not ,I just want them to go through hell" Cassidy said with a flash of fury in her eyes
"You talk like you already know about them sweetheart. Is there something that we don't know that you already know about?" Dad asked as everyone's eyes fixed on Cassidy
"I don't know anything about them ,I didn't even know about their family till they appeared that day and you guys have not even tested my DNA to know if their claims is right" Cassidy fired back
"Sweetheart we have always known that you are not biologically related to us, before I went to the hospital to deliver you we have already discovered that you weren't still alive but we were so happy to receive a living child in the hospital,you can call me greedy or anything but I was so happy when I saw a living young girl in my arms,you were so little and cute and you clinged to me like your life depended on it . I'm so sorry that we hid everything from you but we just love you too much my not so little princess " Claire said as she walked towards Cassidy and stroked her cheeks as tears rolled down her cheeks
"We just didn't want to tell you because we were scared of how you would react to the news but I'm just happy that you are not flipping out right now" Dad said as he flashed a smile that was an attempt of a reassuring smile but came out really terrible
"I'm not angry or sad or anything, I'm just happy that I'm not that woman's child and that woman's child is not a part of this family,you people don't know how relieved I am,this is literally the best news I've heard in my life and I really thank you for trusting me enough to tell me now. I love everyone of you and I'm so proud to be part of this family" Cassidy said as she wiped the tears from Claire's face as she gave her a tight hug
"But I really think that woman knows your real family for her to keep track of you,if you want to know anything we can always find out what happened back then" Sebastian said as he wiped his mouth and stood up to leave the dining area
"Not now,I want to have fun with the Johson Family's remaining assets, I want to leave them in peril without any hope of coming back up "Cassidy said as she stood up to go to her room.
"She has really grown up, she's no longer the little girl we all know and I'm so happy but sad that she got to know that we are not biologically related " Gregory said wiping his imaginary tears in a dramatic way
"I didn't want her to find out,I wanted to take it to my grave but those couple ruined everything and I won't let them off" Nathan said as he also stood up to leave .
