Two weeks later, after warning Moori about the wizard who would attack Namek and use the Dragon Balls of New Namek to revive the planets destroyed by the Tree of Might, Yamcha returns to Earth.

"Great choice, Yamcha! How come Goku never did that? He would make a lot of money winning the martial arts tournaments that are scattered around Earth." Puar says.
After landing the spaceship, Yamcha shuts it down, leaves the central room, and heads to the landing area where some Capsule Corporation employees and Dr. Briefs were waiting.
Yamcha and Puar descend from the spaceship, and Dr. Briefs looks at Yamcha and asks:
"Is the spaceship comfortable?" Dr. Briefs asks.
Yamcha then replies:
"It's very comfortable. If you want to build a cruise ship-style spaceship, you'll become the richest man in the North Galaxy." Yamcha replies.

Dr. Briefs then begins to call his employees to see the spaceship's facilities. Yamcha and Pual take a bag containing the fruits of the Tree of Might and Turles' magic scouter and fly away.

Puar gets scared and asks:
"But isn't that dangerous, Yamcha?" Puar
asks.
Yamcha then replies in a serious tone:
"Yes, it's dangerous, but I won't let anyone threaten me." Yamcha replies.
That was the surprise?!? Someone knows I'm a Saiyan and is going to alter the Cell Saga?!?!?

Yamcha agrees and says:

At that moment the phone rings and Puar goes to answer the call. Puar answers and asks:
"Hello, who's speaking?" Puar asks.
Then a female voice replies:
"Is Yamcha there? I need to talk to him." The female voice replies.
Puar then remembered that female voice; it was Esmeralda, a member of Yamcha's most famous fan club, and judging by her tone, something was wrong.
Puar then says:
"It's Esmeralda, she seems worried about something." Puar says.
Yamcha picks up the phone and says:
"Hello Esmeralda, it's me Yamcha, what do you want to talk to me about?" Yamcha says.
Esmeralda then says:
"Yamcha, you once told me you were as strong as the Mercenary Tao. Then I can count on your help. Something is happening across the entire planet; they're saying a virus has been released into the air and is driving millions of people insane. Entire capital cities are in chaos. I'm only telling you this because you have those friends of yours who are also strong, and now I need to hide." Esmeralda says.
The call ends, and Yamcha opens the curtain and sees through the window West City in flames and a different planet approaching Earth. Puar is frightened and hears demonic screams in the building.
Yamcha then says:
"Garlic Jr. is attacking Earth, we have to go to Kami's Lookout and save Earth from chaos." Yamcha says.
