Chapter 7 - The Giant Door... and a Quirkless Monster

In the early morning, under a perfectly clear sky, Izuku Midoriya walked toward U.A. High School with stiff, mechanical steps. He was wearing his brand-new school uniform, and his yellow backpack bounced with every tense, nervous stride he took.

Beside him, Killua walked at a sluggish pace, carrying his skateboard under one arm while his other hand was shoved deep into his pocket. He let out a massive yawn, his blue eyes half-closed, looking as though he had just woken up from a deep hibernation. The formal uniform looked a bit out of place on him, especially since he wore it in his own messy style, completely ignoring the necktie.

"I-I'm so nervous, Killua," Midoriya muttered, staring up at the massive glass building before them. "Class 1-A... I heard only the absolute elite make it in. What if Kacchan is there? If we're in the same class, he'll never leave me alone... And what about that strict guy with the glasses?"

Killua let out a long, bored sigh. "Izuku, if you keep trembling like that, you're going to put me to sleep. It's just a school, not a death trap. And if your annoying friend or anyone else bothers you, just ignore them. You don't need all this drama."

They stopped in front of a giant door with the letters "1-A" painted in huge, bold red. The door was massive enough for a dinosaur to easily pass through.

"Do they teach giants here?" Killua commented dryly.

Midoriya swallowed hard and slowly pushed the door open.

The moment it opened, a wave of noise hit them. The boy with the glasses (Iida) was chopping the air with mechanical strictness, loudly scolding "Kacchan" (Bakugo), who had his feet casually propped up on his desk with pure, unadulterated disrespect.

"Take your feet off the desk this instant! Do you have no respect for academy property or the upperclassmen who sat there before you?!" Iida shouted.

"Haaah?! What garbage dump did you crawl out of, four-eyes?!" Bakugo shot back with a feral grin.

Midoriya froze in the doorway, his heart nearly stopping. "They're both in the same class! This is the worst possible nightmare!"

But Killua didn't stop. He didn't even blink. He walked right past the frozen Midoriya and stepped into the classroom with silent, soundless footsteps. He didn't spare a single glance at the argument, completely ignoring the curious stares of the other students. He walked straight to an empty seat in the back row by the window, sat down, tossed his bag onto the desk, and rested his head on his arms, closing his eyes to catch some sleep.

Bakugo finally noticed Midoriya standing in the doorway, and his eyes instantly flared with rage. "Deku!! How the hell did a Quirkless piece of trash like you get in he—"

Bakugo's screaming was cut short as he noticed the silver-haired boy who had just walked past him, completely ignoring him as if he were an invisible insect. This utter disregard from a total stranger severely provoked Bakugo's inflated ego.

Bakugo stomped furiously toward Killua's desk, raising his hand to slam it down and wake him up. "Hey, you! Who the hell do you think you are, ignoring me, you little—"

Before Bakugo's hand could even touch the wood of the desk, in a fraction of a split second, Killua opened one blue eye and looked up at him.

It wasn't a look of anger. It wasn't a look of defiance. It was a look of... absolute emptiness. Cold and dead as the depths of a frozen ocean. It was the look of someone who had killed before, and wouldn't hesitate to do it again.

That single gaze sent a terrifying, primal warning straight into Bakugo's spinal cord. "If you place your hand there... you will die."

Bakugo's hand froze in mid-air. His pupils dilated in a shock he couldn't comprehend. He involuntarily took a step back, slowly lowering his hand while grinding his teeth, desperately trying to process the sudden, overwhelming wave of fear that had just paralyzed his body.

Killua closed his eye again, as if nothing had happened.

At that exact moment, a man with messy black hair and exhausted eyes entered the room, inching across the floor inside a yellow sleeping bag like a giant caterpillar.

"If you're here to make friends, pack your bags and leave," Professor Aizawa said in a raspy, deadpan voice.

Aizawa ordered them to put on their P.E. uniforms and head out to the athletic field for a "Quirk Apprehension Test." Then, he dropped the bomb: "Whoever ranks last in total points will be judged as having zero potential... and will be expelled immediately."

The entire class gasped in horror, and Midoriya shivered from head to toe.

Killua, however, just shoved his hands into his sweatpants pockets and smiled faintly. "Expulsion for the stragglers? Finally, a teacher who speaks logic. This is vastly superior to some boring welcome ceremony."

The physical tests began.

In the 50-meter dash, Killua stood next to a boy with a tail (Ojiro). When the starting signal went off, Killua didn't just run; he used the Rhythm Echo technique. Several afterimages of his body appeared, and in the blink of an eye, he was standing at the finish line, yawning.

The machine beeped: 1.5 seconds.

The students stared in sheer disbelief, but Aizawa narrowed his eyes at his monitor. "He didn't use an acceleration Quirk. He ran that using only the power of his legs."

They moved on to the ball throw.

Bakugo stepped up, using a massive explosion to launch the ball, scoring a terrifying 705 meters. The students cheered in awe.

Aizawa called Killua's name. The silver-haired boy stepped up casually and caught the ball.

Every single student in Class 1-A was watching him with burning curiosity. What would his Quirk be?

Killua stood inside the throwing circle. Inner Monologue (Killua): "If I throw this with all my strength, I'll draw the attention of this annoying teacher and become the center of attention. I need to maintain a comfortable, average rank. I'll just throw it with normal strength, without going all out."

Behind him, Aizawa watched with piercing eyes. "His movements in all the previous tests were unnatural. His speed, his agility... His Quirk registry simply says 'Undefined'. Is he using a hidden physical enhancement Quirk? Let's find out right now."

Suddenly, Aizawa's eyes glowed a bright, blood-red, and his messy black hair floated upwards, defying gravity. He activated his Quirk, Erasure, locking his gaze directly onto Killua to cancel out whatever ability the boy was about to use.

Killua didn't feel any change, simply because he didn't have a "Quirk" to be erased. His body didn't glow, and no sparks flew. He took a step back, and with a perfectly flawless, athletic motion, he swung his arm and threw the ball.

The ball launched forward at a terrifying speed, ripping through the air with a sharp crack that sounded like a sniper rifle, before disappearing high into the sky.

Aizawa closed his stinging eyes to rest them, then looked down at the device in his hand.

412.5 meters.

A heavy silence fell over the field. The number was exceptional, but...

"Wait..." one of the students (Kirishima) muttered in confusion. "That's an awesome score, but... there were no flashy effects! He didn't use any visible Quirk!"

In the back of the group, Bakugo was biting his lip in frustration, remembering that cold, dead stare from the classroom, slowly realizing this boy was hiding something monstrous.

As for Aizawa, his tired eyes widened in genuine, unadulterated shock as he stared at the screen. His grip tightened around the device, and a small, terrifying smile crept onto his face.

"I completely erased his Quirk before he threw," Aizawa thought, his heart beating a little faster at the sheer weight of his conclusion. "And yet, he scored this number, and his speed earlier wasn't affected at all. This means my suspicions were right... He isn't using a superpower. That score and those movements are the result of pure, unadulterated human physical strength! This boy... is a monster trained in a very, very dark place."

Killua casually walked back to his spot among the students, hands in his pockets, completely ignoring the shocked, expectant stares of everyone around him.
