"Yooooo! This place is so big. It's like my house and your house and my house and your house and Amara's house all put together over and over again." Ore said as he ran around from one place to another within the large recreation room at the center of the Stad. Testing each and everything in there, from the massage chairs to the go karts and then the stretch of food stalls. "Roy! It's a Kisasi bread." He shouted at Roy pointing at the bread in the counter of the stall he was in front of with his mouth watering.
'Hold on, didn't this dude just eat five rounds of food back in the port. Okay, that's enough. I need to pull that thing away from here. I'm too low on money for this.' Zaria said to himself as he quickly rushed to grab Ore and pull him away from the food stalls. "Hey let's..."
"Ore! They got a pool. Swimming race. Let's go!" Roy shouted from the opposite direction, giving Ore the chance to slip underneath Zaria's arm and run off to the pool.
"Pha. Ph. P. Calm down Z. They're just kids. Don't get heated." Zaria said as he tapped his right foot on the floor continuously.
Amara giggles at the situation unfolding as she looks around, while following Zaria closely. "I think you should stop them before they do something to someone else. Hehe." She said while covering her mouth.
Turning to face her, "Wait what?" He lowers himself to her height, by squatting. "Please don't move, I'll buy you any snacks here. I'll be back in a second." Zaria says to her and closes his eyes immediately afterwards.
'This should be illegal to do outside official missions, but these two will kill me before any missions.' Raising his head up to see the roof of the Stad, he drops his head back down and looks straight at the two boys who were now in his perspective slowly taking off their clothes to hop into the pool.
"SOUNDLESS STEP."
And in an instant, he was right behind them and immediately grabbed onto their locs before they could land in the pool. "Nuh huh." He said glaring right into their souls. "We're heading to your rooms and then we will need to talk about you two and your bad behaviour. Get dressed. And don't even think of doing anything extra."
Amara who was originally standing right next to Zaria was shocked to see him right next to the boys, even though she was looking at him just a moment ago.
The boys were both pissed and amazed at how Zaria had caught up to them from over hundreds of feet away back at the fried buns shop.
The group walked down with their bags into the left side of the reactional hall, and down to their rooms on the third floor of the left passage.
"Well then. That'll be your room Amara, while this will be ours. Do not open the door to anyone that doesn't sound like the three of us and doesn't knock four times with an interval of two seconds between each knock. Understood."
She nodded in response as she collected the keys from him. And opened the door to a very spacious and well decorated room. She turned to him and back to the room with a smile.
"Yes, I chose that for you. You're welcome. Do clean up and wait for me. We'll head back to get food for the night together." He said with a smile which then changed into a frown as he kicked both Roy and Ore into their room, "Get in you two and stop blushing like freaking Murmushi Monkeys."
"Click." The doors on both rooms lock.
"Now listen here, both of you." Zaria started talking as he walked away from the door down to the bed in the center of the three beds of the large room, slowly taking off his coat, and folding the sleeves of his teal blue cotton shirt, sitting on the bed with his legs spread and his arms resting on them as he locked his fingers into each other. "Crawl over here and kneel with your heads to the ground. And please for the sake of your ancestors do not make me repeat myself."
The two boys looked at each other with their teeth clenched and their faces screaming with the expression. "We fucked up." They slowly crawled to where he sat and knelt down with both of their heads touching each of his feet.
"I know you guys are hyperactive and super whatever, but do not try pranking me or doing anything stupid. I'm usually calm but I can be really really..."
"Frrt."
"Pardon? Who did..."
"Brap"
The two boys giggled silently.
Zaria stood up and moved behind them using the same technique he had used earlier, without realizing he had moved he continued speaking waiting for them to foolishly do it again. And into his trap did they fall graciously.
Picking them both up from their belts to their surprise, he lofted them into the air in their curled up kneeling position, he rotated their faces to face his. And looks at them with his left brow raised.
"Go on. Keep farting." He said as he held them up.
"We're sorry Zaria Wanizi." They replied in unison.
"No dinner for the both of you. Go clean up and return to this position and reflect on what you have done."
"Please I'll die if I don't eat." Cried out Ore.
"Then you should have thought of that when you were farting."
"But I didn't fart though." Ore replied with a straight face. Knowing fully well what lying at this point could cost them.
"You didn't? Do you take me for a fool, Akpo Ore?" He said as he drops them both to the ground.
"No, Wanizi. But I really didn't fart. There's no smell in the room. If I did you wouldn't be able to keep talking."
"Pfft... gulp." Roy reacted and immediately buried his head into the floor.
"You both think this is funny. I wonder what your mother will say about this Roy." 'Wait. She did tell them not to prank me because I'm a good person. Ah fuck. She literally triggered their spirits to do so.' With a slap to his face, he turned around and squatted down to their lowered height. "So who did?"
"It was the air bags in our bag. See, I didn't fart." Ore said as he pulled out the brown tiny air bags from his bag.
'Oh, my freaking... Phew. Not worth it.' "Go get cleaned up, the both of you. I'm going to go get dinner with Amara. Nothing for you two, since you want to be clowns. Then eat your jokes."
They stood up obediently without any questions and walked straight into the bathroom at the far right of their room. Their silence was so chilling, Zaria was scared they were planning to do something else, forcing him to be on high alert.
Fortunately for him they only went into shower and back out afterwards, changed into their night dress and climbed on their respective beds across each other to the left and right of Zaria's.
Zaria stood up and walked into the bathroom. "I hope they don't try anything funny." He said as he opened the door slightly to peep at what they were doing, but to his shock they were completely sound asleep, even their breath and the sound of their heartbeat was extremely calm. "Are you kidding me. How can they sleep off that fast." He said with his eyes wide open in shock.
"I might genuinely run mad if I stay near these kids any longer."
He takes off his remaining clothes to expose claw scars on his back that looked like it was caused by a bear with claws large enough to be the size of a thirty centimeters ruler.
'Tch. I shouldn't stress myself too much.' He says to himself as he turns the shower on and slowly performs a dance as he bathes, while humming a song.
The two boys stood up from their beds and placed their ears on the door. Shocked at Zaria singing a tone they had heard from Amara a long time ago. They looked at each other and decided it wasn't worth it to try something extra, as the sun was already setting and their chances of eating dinner had already dropped to zero percent.
Meanwhile in Amara's room, she had cleaned herself up and was waiting for Zaria and the boys to come Knock on her door, while she walked around the room inspecting the size and different things across the room. From the red and white colour used for the bed and bed sheet to the pink colour used for the ceiling.
'This is quite a big room for just me. Mom, I think I'm really going to have fun where I'm going. Ah I should write everything that's happened so far in my diary.' She said to herself as she walked to her luggage at the end of the room to pull out a feather shaped pen and a book with a red and yellow outer leather cover.
As she sat at the desk within the room a knock bounced on the door. She stopped and remained silent, waiting for Zaria to speak of the boys to crack a stupid joke to scare her. But nothing happened.
Then at exactly 2 seconds another knock landed on the door, and another after 2 seconds, before the last, she picked up her small handbag thinking it was Zaria who didn't want to talk because it was already getting late and some passengers could already be asleep.
She opened the door before the fourth knock could make contact only to see the baby from the port right on the floor in front of her.
"Oh, hello little one. It was just you. Where's your mama?" She said as she picked her up and walked out of her room carrying the baby looking both ways to see where she had come from.
"You really shouldn't be crawling away from your parents, darling." She said as she smiled at the child. "Oh, I think that's your mama. Let's go meet her."
"Sure." The baby replied, with a voice that sounded like that of a lady in her mid-twenties.
Amara in fear dropped the child to the ground after already walking a bit away from her room. She began sprinting back after remembering what Zaria had told her, but in the same instant she turned around, a hand covered her back, sending her straight into the floor and knocking her out.
Zaria in the bathroom stopped moving. And immediately dried himself, walked out of the bathroom and woke the boys up as he wore his uniform again.
"Both of you ensure you stay right in bed without moving, I'll get you dinner as long as you do not open this door no matter what. Even if you hear my voice telling you to open it. Do not. I have the keys with me. Remember that." He said to them as he walked out of the room.
With the hallway now with dimmer lights as the sun had now set. He placed his arms in his pocket and began tapping his feet on the floor. 'Second floor third room.'
"SOUNDLESS S..."
Before he could move, he noticed a large man walking towards him.
'Shit almost used a technique in public.' "Excuse me sir, have you seen... wow slow down." He said as he dodged a full swing aimed at his head. "You do know attacking a Hunter is a crime, right?" He added as he took a fighting stance with his left leg in front of him and his right hand behind him, and his knees slightly bent, he tilts his head.
"I'll ask you this only once, and you'll answer me truthfully. Where is She?" He asked as he had noticed Amara's door slightly opened earlier but could not hear her heartbeat from within the room but from the floor below them.
