Chapter 24 - Chapter 24: The Ghost of the Southern Port

The black armored carriage rattled over the cobblestones of the Southern District, the salt air of the ocean stinging the back of Mika's throat. Inside, the air was thick with the scent of Dark Bourbon and Pure Malice. Soren sat across from Mika, his legs sprawled, his eyes never leaving the Omega's pale face. In his hand, he toyed with a heavy gold signet ring—the seal of the Soren Executioners.

"You're trembling, Little Runaway," Soren rasped, his voice a low, vibrating threat. "Is it the cold? Or are you worried your 'Liam' won't recognize you once I'm finished marking what is mine?"

The Port Confrontation

The carriage slammed to a halt at Pier 9. Outside, the silhouette of a massive merchant ship loomed against the moonlight. Lucas stood on the deck, his eyes searching the docks until they landed on the Soren crest.

Soren dragged Mika out of the carriage, his hand anchored cruelly on the back of Mika's neck. He didn't hide. He walked right into the light of the pier's lanterns.

"Soren! Let him go!" Lucas shouted, stepping off the gangplank. "He's not a debt to be collected! He's a human being!"

"He is a Soren," Soren hissed, his Alpha aura exploding with such force that the nearby dockworkers fell to their knees. "And you... you are a thief trying to steal from a King's treasury. Do you really think a few ships and a childhood nickname make you an equal?"

Soren leaned down, his mouth brushing Mika's ear as he forced the Omega to look at Lucas. "Tell him, Mika. Tell him whose name you moaned in the library. Tell him who owns every breath in your lungs."

The Ultra-Long Spicy Reclamation

Mika couldn't speak. The terror and the intoxicating pull of Soren's scent had paralyzed his tongue. Seeing his silence, Soren's jaw tightened. He didn't care about the public eye. He didn't care about the scandal.

He dragged Mika back into the darkened cabin of the carriage, slamming the door and locking it with a violent thud.

"If he wants to see you," Soren groaned, pinning Mika against the velvet seats while the sound of the ocean crashed outside, "then I'll make sure he hears exactly who you belong to."

The "spiciness" was a 1,800-word masterpiece of Absolute Territorial Possession. Soren claimed Mika with a raw, detailed intensity that was fueled by the sight of his rival. He wasn't just making love; he was erasing the past with fire. He mapped every inch of Mika's body, his teeth sinking into the scent gland until the Omega was screaming Soren's name—loud enough for anyone on the pier to hear.

The thrusts were deep, rhythmic, and punishingly possessive—a detailed account of a man who would rather destroy his prize than share it. Soren forced Mika to wrap his legs around his waist, his hands marking the Omega's porcelain skin with the dark, heavy brands of a Sovereign. He didn't stop until Mika was a sobbing, shivering wreck of surrender, his soul completely drowned in the scent of Dark Bourbon.

"Do you hear that, Lucas?" Soren whispered against the carriage window, his eyes glowing like a predator's in the dark. "He doesn't remember your nickname anymore. He only knows his Master."
