Next day-
'Good morning'
'Morning, did you do the stuff that I told you to do yesterday. Show me.'- Sam
'I did it. I have always been an obedient kid.' (I had completed the questions that he gave me but I really struggled with those and I think barely something is right. I thought I would ask abby for help but how would i know, this professor pain would ask for it as soon as I reach my desk. He is checking like he is a professor. But he looks pretty cool) As I was smiling I get a flick on my forehead.
'I taught you these yesterday and you didn't even got five right. Look.. this is wrong... this is wrong..'-Sam (He is circling my mistakes and he seemed pissed as he should be, but I can't say he is right , of course I'll speak for me.)
'I at least tried, you should be happy that I'm eager to learn. That's what matters. Teach me again, I'll learn slowly.'
'You're talking back with me again when you're wrong. Okay I'll teach you this one last time so, concentrate. There won't be another time.'(He flicks again on my head.)
'Okay, I get it. Stop hitting me.' (I look at him. He's smiling at me)
'Why are you smiling? You're having fun hitting me right. Let me do that to you.'
(I try to flick him with all my energy. He is trying to hide his forehead and I'm all ready to attack. We both are laughing.)
'Show me ... give me your forehead captain.'
'No, stop you idiot.'- Sam while hiding his forehead
'Common just once, you did it to me twice.'
(As we were laughing and playing someone from the back pushed me accidently. I nearly got bumped in Sam's chest. We were close to each other, my heart starts beating fast. My watch starts ringing and showing me the heart beat being 143 as it's increasing. I try to stop the watch.)
'Okay stop. Now I'll teach you for one last time. Otherwise our one week session ends here.'(He became serious all of a sudden.)
'Okay'
(The class is over and it's time for lunch. I'm so proud of myself that I'm slowly learning.)
'Be here right after lunch I'll take your test. Let's see how much you've learned.'-Sam
'What you just taught me 5 to 6 question.'(I really don't want to learn during my break so I just make an excuse. I just want to watch basketball. Wait so he's not playing basketball after lunch.)
'You're not playing basketball?'
'You said you wanted to learn. Be here after lunch. If not our deal is over cause if you fail my reputation falls and I don't want that. So, do as I say or leave.'-Sam
(I nodded my head.)'Okay, I'll be here in 15 min.'
'Okay guys you'll watch the match I need to study.'
'What? you okay. Are you sick.'- Paige (She put's her hand on my forehead to check me. I put her hand down.)
'No but since I had a deal with professor pain he is all of a sudden thinking of his reputation being ruined because of me if I fail even after being taught by him.'
'Oh god that's exhausting. Okay have fun learning bitch.'-Paige
(I reach class and he is there. Right on time.)
'Are you always this particular on everything.'
'Being on discipline is not a sin Iris.'-Sam (I make a mocking face.)
'Stop and open you're copy and solve these.'-Sam
(I surprisingly solve the problem he taught me. I'm solving these hard stuff too. I can't believe that I'm finally learning and it's all because of him. )
'You better not forget what you've learned till date cause this is really important in this upcoming exam.'-Sam
'Yes, Captain.'
(The bell rings. Everyone enters and the class begins.)
'Okay who is going to solve this problem....Iris come to the board and solve this problem.'-Teacher
(I can' believe I was all dozed off. I don't know how to solve that problem and I look at Sam.)
'What will you do now sloppy head.'-Sam(Smiles at me mockingly)
(I wish I could punch him right at his face.)'It's all because of you. You could have wake me up.'
'Iriss.. we can't wait for you the whole period right. COME TO THE FRONT AND SOLVE.'-Teacher screams
( I get to the board with marker but I'm sure that I can't solve it.)
'I know you can't solve this as you were sleeping. When will you start being obedient and discipline. Samuel solve this.'-Teacher
(I watch Samuel solve the problem. He can never change. He is still THE professor pain. )
'Good, teach her something and you learn something from him. That's why you are placed with him. Both of you go back to your seats.'-Teacher
(I look at him like I would murder him any second.)
'Stop glaring. You should have paid attention. I'm just your tutor. I can't teach you how to be disciplined.'-Sam
'But I thought you became friends more than being my tutor.'
(His mouth opens a little bit. Is he in shock. We did became friends yesterday. Didn't we?)
'Okay miss friends. we'll work on this but you need to focus on class.'-Sam
'You better focus on this professor pain.'
'You better not call me that, otherwise I'll forget what you said earlier about being friends.'-Sam
'Okay, captain.'
'As we're friends. i need to say something.'-Sam
'Okay, but not related to study.'
'I'm sorry, for the library incident. I shouldn't have had spoken to you in that way.'-Sam
(Did I hear wrong or he really said sorry to me. I couldn't believe what I heard. Am I wrong about him... I don't think he that bad... )
'You mean it?'(I lowered my gaze)
'Yeah...Okay that's all I wanted to say. I'm leaving.'-Sam
'You're sorry is still not approved captain.' (He raise his hands for a bye and I smile)
