It was a perfect day, the calm weather seemed dreamy. I was in the bridal suite, wearing my white dress with a crinoline and a veil that reached my elbows. I was sitting in a small white armchair and surrounded by white lilies, my favorite flower. Then my mother entered with her hanbok.
"Are you ready, daughter? All the guests are inside waiting for the ceremony to begin," my mother announced, adjusting my veil.
"Are they really all here?" I asked nervously, trembling, feeling excitement and fear at the same time. I still didn't know whether to go out or not, but my mother was right, the ceremony had to start.
"Daughter, you are beautiful. I never thought this day would come, I wish you all the happiness in the world, daughter."
"Thank you very much, Mom," I hugged her, thanking her for the beautiful words she had said to me. "I'm ready, Mom," I said nervously but decisively, it was time to move to the next level.
Standing in front of the hall door, I fixed my gaze. I was nervous, I couldn't believe it, I was about to get married and start a new life. Suddenly a strange man approached me. I couldn't see his face, he extended his hand to me and prepared to give me away. The door opens and I make my entrance. I arrived at the altar and... This person was not my boyfriend...
"Who are you? Answer me," I asked, confused.
"Shh... you will soon know who I am," this guy replied, putting his finger on my mouth, while the officiant performed the ceremony. I began to feel dizzy, I felt like I was going to faint, I could only hear my name.
"Hye-jin, Hye-jin"
