Shimura Danzo had been the first real obstacle in Chinatsu's long-term plan, and after eliminating him without triggering immediate village-wide chaos, the next name on her mental list was the "Akatsuki Organization."
Unlike most shinobi in Konoha who only knew Akatsuki as a vague S-rank criminal group, Chinatsu understood far more than she should have. Not because of prophecy or intuition, but because she had seen the pattern of what they would become.
Uzumaki Nagato… Yahiko… Konan…
Kindness does not automatically create peace. Pain does not automatically produce wisdom either.
In Nagato's ideology, the world would never stop fighting through understanding alone. So he would force understanding through pain itself. By taking all hatred onto himself, becoming the so-called "god" of Amegakure, then extending that influence across nations through fear and the tailed beasts as living weapons human deterrents like walking nuclear bombs.
Chinatsu understood the logic clearly.
It was not purely wrong… but it was incomplete.
A world that only behaves because it is afraid is not peace. It is obedience under pressure. If one country alone held absolute destructive power, would the others feel safe… or simply wait for the moment to retaliate?
Nagato's method could suppress war, yes, but it could not remove the desire for war.
Chinatsu leaned back slightly as she walked home, thinking through it step by step. She was not a politician like the Third Hokage, nor did she have Naruto's absurd ability to talk people into crying and forgiving everything with one speech.
So if words could not fix it…
Then she would simply intervene physically.
Chinatsu: If reasoning fails, then I'll just correct the direction with my fists.
A moment before reaching the Uchiha residence, she had already finalized her approach.
Plan A: Locate Akatsuki early, infiltrate from the inside if necessary, identify Nagato's position, and deliver a "humanitarian correction strike" before the worst parts of the future fully unfolded.
Chinatsu: Perfect plan.
…Perfect size of trouble, anyway.
Inside the Uchiha mansion, Naruto and Sasuke were sitting in meditation, circulating chakra to refine control and capacity. Their growth over the past years had been abnormal even by clan standards. Kakashi had once silently concluded that teaching them felt less like training students and more like trying to keep up with disasters in human form.
Both boys were now already at a level approaching elite Chunin, even without formal promotion.
Sasuke's Sharingan had stabilized into two tomoe, though he rarely mentioned it. The reason was simple his nights were still filled with fragments of the Uchiha clan massacre, the sound of rain, and a single man walking away.
Naruto, on the other hand, still relied heavily on shadow clone-based training methods that Chinatsu had indirectly shaped over time.
Then Chinatsu returned.
"Sasuke, Naruto. Come here."
Both immediately broke their meditation and ran over.
They expected something normal. A training note. A mission hint. Maybe even food.
Instead
"I'm leaving for a while."
Silence.
"…Huh?" Naruto blinked.
Sasuke's expression tightened instantly. "Leaving…? Where?"
"It's not a mission from the village," Chinatsu said calmly, "but I'll be gone for a few months. Don't slack off while I'm away."
Her hand landed on both of their heads at once, as if she had done this many times before.
Naruto's face froze.
Sasuke's jaw tightened.
"…Sister, you're going?" Naruto's voice dropped slightly.
Chinatsu nodded.
There was no dramatic farewell speech. No emotional collapse. No unnecessary hesitation.
She had already decided this the moment she left Kakashi earlier.
Staying here any longer would slow all three of them down herself included.
Naruto and Sasuke were no longer children who needed constant protection. If anything, they were already developing at a pace that made her presence unnecessary in most daily growth cycles.
And more importantly…
The timeline was already moving.
Chinatsu turned slightly away.
"If I don't come back in time, don't wait for me like weaklings."
Sasuke frowned. Naruto opened his mouth, but no words came out.
She left.
The next morning came quickly.
For the first time in a long while, Chinatsu woke up early without hesitation. No laziness, no delay. She packed with precise efficiency.
Clothes. Supplies. Combat essentials. Food rations. Medical tags. Money.
10w… 100w should be enough.
She checked everything once, then once again.
No dramatic goodbyes.
She had never liked those.
At the Uchiha residence, Naruto lay flat on his back staring at the ceiling, eyes heavy but awake all night. Sasuke sat with his head slightly lowered, expression unreadable, refusing to acknowledge how little he had slept.
"…I'm fine," Sasuke muttered into the pillow. "It's just a few months."
Naruto didn't respond. He just stared upward.
Chinatsu noticed their state without needing to ask.
But she still did not stop.
Instead, she stepped out.
Scroll in hand.
This scroll contained underground bounty network routes information that would normally require black-market channels or Root-level intelligence gathering. In the original timeline, only organizations like Akatsuki operated comfortably in those shadows.
But Chinatsu had already begun learning how to read those shadows earlier than most.
Hidan. Kakuzu. Known patterns. Known targets. Known greed.
"If they keep collecting bounties…" she muttered, "then they leave trails."
A flicker of movement.
Body Flicker Technique activated.
Her figure vanished from the Uchiha mansion gate in an instant, leaving only a faint disturbance in the air.
No one came to stop her.
And just like that
Chinatsu left Konoha alone, heading toward the underground world where Akatsuki's first traces could be found.
