Ayaan's breath became heavy. His heart pounded wildly in his chest. Every instinct inside him screamed only one thing—run.
But his legs refused to move. It was as if something invisible was holding him in place.
Meera stood right in front of him… or whatever she had become. Her eyes were still dark, empty, lifeless. And that smile—cold, twisted, completely wrong.
"You will stay…" she whispered softly.
Ayaan stepped back, his entire body shaking. "No… I can't stay here."
"You already did," she replied.
The moment those words left her lips, the ground beneath Ayaan shifted. He stumbled and looked around in horror. The road was gone. Everything was gone.
There was only darkness. Endless, silent, suffocating darkness.
"What is this…?" he whispered, fear tightening his chest.
"You came to me…" her voice echoed from every direction. "So now… you belong to me."
Suddenly, cold hands grabbed his arms from behind.
Ayaan screamed.
He turned around—but there was no one there. Only shadows. Moving. Breathing. Watching.
"No… let me go!" he struggled desperately.
The shadows tightened their grip, pulling him deeper into the darkness. His heart raced uncontrollably. His mind was breaking.
Then suddenly—he remembered something.
The phone.
With trembling hands, he pulled it out and turned on the flashlight.
A sharp beam of light cut through the darkness.
Everything stopped.
The shadows disappeared. The grip vanished. Ayaan fell to the ground, gasping for air.
Light… that was the key.
But then—
The light flickered.
And slowly… it started fading.
Ayaan looked up.
Meera was standing right in front of him again. Closer than ever. Her face just inches away from his.
"You can't escape…" she whispered.
"Not from me."
The light went out.
And this time…
Ayaan knew—
He might not get another chance.
👉 Will Ayaan escape… or become part of this darkness forever?
