I looked at Edna's shocked face as she listened to all the powers I had. It was like her mind had just been exposed to the sheer number I had. which was a fair reaction Afterall I had more than twenty power from Incredibles alone, combining the powers my female self is copying in MHA. Yeah… it was a lot.
But I had underestimated this woman's mind. She recovered quickly, as if my powers didn't even faze her.
"Oh, honey, I will enjoy making a super suit for you," she said, swirling the pen in her hand like it was a wand.
She waved me toward a large table covered in sketches, fabrics, and gadgets.
"Tell me, darling, do you have any suggestions for me? A favorite color, perhaps?" she asked as I sat across from her.
I placed my hand on my chin, thinking for a moment. Yes… something like this. I took a piece of paper from her and began sketching.
A rough design, inspired by Shadow (Cid Kagenou).
"Something like this," I said, handing her the sketch. "I'd like two versions of this suit one for a male body and one for a female body."
It probably sounded weird to anyone else—asking for a female suit—but I couldn't exactly tell her I had a female version of myself… could I?
Edna took the sketch from me, her eyes scanning every line with laser focus.
"Hmmm… interesting," she muttered, tapping her chin with the tip of her pen. "I see potential, darling, but you lack refinement. This is sloppy—delightfully ambitious, yes, but sloppy."
I shrugged. "It's a rough draft. Just an idea."
She let out a sharp, satisfied hum. "Ah, I can make your version work. I'll just have to design a shorten the long, black, trench coat-style garment. And as for your request for a female version of this suit? No problem at all," she said, getting up and walking away.
"How much will it cost?" I asked, already calculating how I would pay her.
"Ah, I don't need money, honey. I am already rich," she said casually.
"Still, your super suit is more… shadowy than a traditional hero's," she said, her hands blurring over a large rack of fabrics, running her fingers across each one like she was selecting soldiers for battle.
"Well, I've liked black and purple as a color scheme since I was a little child," I said, thinking of King Jinwoo—oh, how he made me fall for purple and black.
"How long will it take?" I asked, glancing at the clock. The events of Mr. Incredible's were about to unfold.
"Well… a couple of hours. Why?" she asked, cutting the fabric with precision.
"Well, I'll just come back then," I said. "Is that okay with you?"
"It's fine," Edna said, not even looking up from her work. "You can go. It's not like your presence is needed here—I've already taken your measurements."
I nodded and gave a small bow before teleporting out.
On the building, any person foolish enough to try something would appear and I would deal with them.
And as for kid Syndrome… I just hoped Mind Control Shinso's power would work on him.
But first, let's take out Bomb Voyage.
I teleported behind him, giving him no time to react.
Bam. I smashed his head in.
"Nice," I thought, eyeing the white-faced villain before teleporting up and spotting the man walking toward the edge of the building.
"Hey," I called out, locking eyes with him.
"What… how are you here?" he stammered, clearly startled by my sudden appearance.
"Well, I'm a just nobody," I said. "And from what I can tell, you're about to do something… I just don't want that to happen."
"You think you're going to stop me?" he said, walking closer to the edge.
"No, I won't," I said. "I know my words mean little, so I'll just stop you temporarily."
I used frozone ice power to freeze him in place.
"What have you done?!" he shouted at me.
I walked up to him and gave him a light tap on the head.
"Just giving you time to think… to decide if the choice you're about to make is the right one or not."
"Remove me immediately!" he yelled, but I had already teleported away, ignoring the rest of his words.
I teleported onto a rooftop opposite where Mr. Incredible and Elastigirl were flirting with each other.
A few meters below them stood the future villain, Syndrome, trying to find his idol Mr. Incredible.
"Hello there," I said, looking him up and down.
Syndrome froze.
Slowly, he turned toward me, confusion written all over his face.
"Uh… hi?" he said, blinking behind his ridiculous mask. "Who are you?"
I tilted my head slightly, studying him.
So this was Syndrome—the future mastermind, the kid who would grow up to nearly wipe out an entire generation of heroes.
Right now?
Just a fanboy.
"I could ask you the same thing," I said calmly. "Tell me—what are you doing here, kid?"
His expression shifted instantly, his mouth opening. "I'm trying to be Mr. Incredible's sidekick… Incrediboy!"
I smiled.
Got him.
Activating Hitoshi Shinso's power.
"Listen carefully," I said. "You're going to stop this. You'll live a normal life and become a regular member of society. Got it?"
"…Understood," he replied.
Good.
I released the control.
I didn't wait for his reaction. I simply teleported away, disappearing as if I had never been there to begin with.
Back at Edna's place, I saw my super suit—
And I was amazed.
It looked so damn beautiful.
"Tell me, honey, do you like it?" Edna asked.
I looked at her, smiling. "Love it? No—Edna, I love it," I said, pulling her into a quick hug before taking the suit off the stand. I stored the female version in my inventory as well.
"Alright then, Edna, I'll be leaving. Thank you for your help," I said, giving her a sincere smile and a thumbs-up.
She just waved me off. "Don't mention it. Just be a good hero."
"I will be."
"Bye," I said, teleporting out of there and back to my home… the Marvel Universe.
