Chapter 119 - Chapter 118: Killing the God of Fate, Obtaining the god-slaying divine sword

In a flash of sword light that could make heaven and earth lose their color, the Hades Sword in Hades's hand pierced through Rama's chest.

"Ugh..." With his chest pierced, Rama's eyes turned white, blood flowed continuously from his mouth and chest, and his entire body convulsed.

Hades held the Hades Sword high, letting Rama slide straight down the blade. Hades also saw Rama's face clearly—it was filled with disbelief and shock.

Afterward, Hades swung his sword, throwing Rama away and sending him back into mythology, while simultaneously severing the connection between the god-slaying divine sword and Rama.

"god-slaying divine sword," Hades said, looking at the god-slaying divine sword floating in the space of the universe, now without a master.

"god-slaying divine sword, I'll take it!!"

He intended to reach out and take it with his mind, but to his surprise, an uninvited guest arrived. It was Susanoo, flying rapidly toward the god-slaying divine sword with Ama-no-Murakumo in hand, reaching out his free hand in an attempt to snatch the god-slaying divine sword.

Swish—!!

Just as Susanoo was about to succeed, the sound of breaking air rang out. Hades used his mind to telekinetically control the Hades Sword, killing Susanoo on the spot.

"How could this..." With an expression of resentment, Susanoo's form gradually faded away.

Hades's expression remained unchanged as he said in a disdainful tone, "Susanoo, did you think I wouldn't be on guard against an arrogant God of Theft like you? You're still a bit too green to try and play the oriole behind the mantis."

Seeing that Ama-no-Murakumo was also about to follow its master back into mythology, Hades severed its connection with Susanoo, stabilizing its state.

Hades raised an eyebrow, and the two weapons—the god-slaying divine sword and Ama-no-Murakumo—flew before him. Looking the black and white weapons up and down, he showed a satisfied smile and said:

"Truly fine collectibles."

As Hades finished speaking, he waved his hand forward, and Ama-no-Murakumo and the god-slaying divine sword were immediately stored in the Alternate Dimension.

"Hm!!" Hades turned his head to look in a certain direction, as if someone was observing his every move from another domain.

After sensing that gaze, Hades took out the god-slaying divine sword and threw it in that direction.

The Immortal Realm

This is the dwelling place of the gods in mythology. Within the Immortal Realm, no "heretic god" exists.

The gods become distorted upon finding an opportunity to enter the mortal world, turning into "heretic gods" whose form of existence differs from their original selves.

It is not permitted to convey knowledge that exists only in the divine 'Immortal Realm' to the people of the mortal world.

In the realm, a young girl of about seven or eight years old, completely naked with shoulder-length blonde hair and skin as white as snow, was the God of Fate of this world.

She has many names; in greek mythology, she is Clotho, Lachesis, Atropos, or the Moirai; in Roman Mythology, she is Nona, Decima, or Morta; in Norse Mythology, she is Urd, Verdandi, or Skuld; in celtic mythology, she is the Morrigan, Macha, or Badb; and in Indian Mythology, she is Parvati, Kali, or Durga.

At the same time, it was she who had bestowed the god-slaying divine sword and the title of [The Last King] upon Rama.

Humans should act like humans. Gods should act like gods. Humans are powerless before the great gods and nature, left to be toyed with. From the beginning of the universe to its end, things that should exist must persist, weaving the correct thread of history. Therefore, a world where humans slay gods is absolutely unacceptable. This is a fallacy that must be corrected. The fate that dispatched Rama was an intervention born from this very thought. That being believed that if such a situation were allowed to happen, the balance between the human world and the divine realm would gradually collapse.

And this God of Fate was pierced by the god-slaying divine sword thrown by Hades. On her expressionless, beautiful face, her eyes radiated a light of disbelief as she could only silently watch her body dissipate.

Then, having finished all this, the god-slaying divine sword returned to Hades's hand. He made a slash with it and said, "Humph!! A mere God of Fate, yet you dared to interfere with me."

Now that Rama and the God of Fate were dead and the god-slaying divine sword had fallen into Hades's hands, there seemed to be no further need to stay in this world.

With a turn, Hades disappeared from this cosmic space and returned to Elysium in the Underworld.

As soon as Hades returned to Elysium, Persephone pulled him into her Temple of the Queen of the Underworld. Seeing her actions, Hades looked at her in confusion and said:

"Persephone, what is this?"

Persephone pressed a finger against Hades's lips, signaling him not to speak. She leaned her whole body against his chest and said in a soft, gentle voice:

"Ignoring the women at home to run around everywhere... don't you know how lonely I've been?"

After those words, Persephone pushed Hades down, closed her eyes, and kissed his lips. Her body emitted a unique fragrance of wheat, just like what one would smell in childhood.

Pushed like this, Hades fell directly onto the sofa. Feeling the softness of her lips, his mind went blank.

Persephone wrapped her arms around his neck and deepened the kiss.

After a long time, she finally let go and looked at Hades with a flushed face.

"You..." Just as Hades spoke, he was interrupted by Persephone.

"I'll let it slide this time, but you're not allowed to leave me for so long again in the future," Persephone said, a flash of subtle mischief crossing her eyes.

Looking at her, Hades couldn't help but feel a surge of warmth in his heart.

He smiled, pulled Persephone into his arms, and said softly, "Alright, I promise you."

"Thank you, darling." Hearing this, Persephone gave a happy smile, left a lipstick mark on Hades's jade-white face, and then swayed her beautiful figure as she left the room.

Once Persephone had left, Hades sat up straight, touched his lips and the lipstick mark on his face, and murmured to himself:

"This feeling is actually quite nice."

"Ara, it seems you look quite happy, Allen."

A voice came through. Hades looked up to see Erica and Lilia. By this time, Lilia had already agreed to Hades's request and become a Nymph, the personal maid of the Queen of the Underworld.

However, the expressions on their faces were a bit terrifying—eyes hollow and faces dark. Even Hades, as the King of the Underworld, was intimidated by the aura of the two women.

"You two... is something the matter...?" Hades asked tentatively.

"Of course it's like this!!" Erica leaned in close to Hades, her hands stroking his body and face. The scene looked quite enchanting.

Meanwhile, Lilia stood frozen in place with a blushing face, covering her eyes with her hands, but the way she peeked through the slight gaps between her fingers betrayed her curiosity.

"I'm simply performing the duties I should have as the King of the Underworld's personal maid," Erica said, tilting Hades's chin up. Although her expression was calm, her heart was beating faster than anyone's.

After saying that, Erica launched a fierce 'attack' on Hades. Lilia, watching from the side, couldn't bear to just be a spectator and immediately pounced on Hades to join the 'attack'.

The atmosphere and the air in the room were filled with pink hearts.
