A while later, still in Gym Gamma.
"Hm! Hm!" Mirio nodded. "You are dangerous as I thought you were Albert!" Mirio nodded while giving him a thumbs up.
"This was good experience for me." Albert kept a composed face. "You aren't hurt are you? I slammed you pretty hard."
"Hahaha!" he let out a chuckle. "I am tougher than I look! You are also tougher than you look, when I punched you I felt like I hit a mountain, if I had hit you any harder I think my fists would have a fracture."
'He is lucky I didn't bleed. Try as I might my habits of leaving no clue of myself behind is strong. Hm. Not like I tried to break from it, it is a good habit to have.'
"But anyway." Mirio looked to the rest of Class 1-A. "You all did well within my expectations! But as for your three!" he looked to Asui, Sero, and Mineta. "Good adaptation! Keep up the work and you guys will succeed one day!"
"Your quirk is pretty strong." Midoriya said. "All of our attacks pass through you."
"So how did Albert get a hit on you!" Bakugo demanded to know.
"Well truth be told my quirk isn't that strong. For starters my Quirk's name is Permeation! As Albert shouted it's Intangibility."
"But how the hell are you able to warp around!" Bakugo pointed. "You like Todoroki with a hybrid quirk!"
"Oh no, you see when I use my quirk I activate it across my body that lets me go through anything and everything."
"W-what do you mean by that?" Momo asked.
"I mean everything but gravity."
"So… light passes through you?"
"Yes."
"Sound?"
"Uh-huh."
"So what happens when you deactivate your quirk while your underground?" asked Midoriya.
"I pop right up! Essentially I am launching myself through the ground and with practice I look to be warping!"
"Wait a second." Albert spoke up. "If everything passes through you then is that why you hold your breath?"
"I thought you knew? Which is why you kicked up a lot of dust, right?"
"I just did it to blind you and strike while you were distracted."
"Haha!" He gave a chuckle. "It seems you also have some luck. But what I am getting to is that my quirk was not this strong, I made it this strong through hard work, effort, and testing. Trust me if I can master my quirk than all of you can do to bring up amazing levels!"
"Ahem!" Aizawa interrupted. "Did you forget about the Work-Studies?"
"Oh—"
"For Work-Studies you guys will not just be gusts but treated as genuine sidekicks just like the pros!" Nejire cut in. "So this will be very valuable experience for you all to really boost your power!"
Nejire looked to Albert again.
"So next time maybe we would work together!"
"Depends on if Mirko is up for it." Albert than glanced at Mirio. "But if I can work with you, I am sure it will be a very enlightening experience." Albert smiled and extended his hand.
"I would gladly show you what I can do!" Mirio also smiles and shakes his hand. "I am sure I would take you by surprise!"
"Not if I do first." Albert smiled and nodded.
'I'm sure if Sir Nighteye met him they would get along well! It's too bad he is too busy and occupied with the Grail War.'
Elsewhere, Sir Nighteye was working.
"Hmm…" Sir Nighteye, or Mirai by his given name, was leaning against a building in a dark alley. "How many were there, Assassin?"
Appearing by his side was his servant.
"78 sir. This is one of their biggest operations. This is their supplies hub where drugs, guns, and people flow through."
"And what of Archer?"
"Word is they are staying in what was the Owari Province, the western half of the Aichi Prefecture."
"Then our guess on who they are were right? There is no other reason why Oda Nobunaga would go to their strongest point of Cultural Sphere. I wanted to be 100% sure it was them and not someone else throwing us off with some fake identity."
"From my data I did not think Oda Nobunaga would have been a girl."
"You are one to say, I am sure history did not pen you as a woman android."
"An excellent point, master. Counterpoint, I am a shinobi, I am also a puppet. Records of the past are never 100% accurate."
"Fair enough but I would think The Demon King of the Sixth Heaven would be accurately recorded."
"Time has shown it can blur and erode away the truths and lies. So what shall we do now? Talking of time and history is not something you would waste time on."
Sir Nighteye pushed up on his glasses getting back to the topic. He would sometimes get lost in conversation with his servant.
"We leak this warehouse and say that one of their bosses, Archer is here and then hope that person who appeared when you infiltrated will appear again."
"Very well. I will inform the police of this discreetly." Assassin then disappeared again.
"Hmm…" He begins to stroke his chin. "Yes." He nods. "Those attacks must have been them as well. I guess they are quite nasty to get two factions to fight." He turns and leaves to the street.
'Saves me the trouble of hunting the remaining Masters and Servants. Especially Caster and their Master, I am sure they are with the League of Villains.'
He checks his phone for the time and sighs.
"He is still at school at the moment. I would like Rider there as a precaution. If their weapon could match Oda's matchlock guns and even escape then she will be needed to bring them in alive."
Fuyuki, Japan. Deep beneath the cities nearby mountain, Mount Enzou.
"Hah! Hah!" Shigaraki was on the ground sweating bullets.
"Is this enough, Doctor?" Siegfrid said looking at AFO's biggest helper.
"Almost. His body needs a bit more work." Said Dr. Kyudai Garaki, a fairly old man of a portly and short stature. He is completely bald and has a very large and bushy mustache. "Caster, what say you?"
"Hmm…" said Caster, a tall man with long grayish-blue hair that he lets fall loosely over his right shoulder with a traditional white tailed lab coat with unique modifications. "They are making good progress." He nods. "Such a shame Avenger is gone."
"Ah yes but we have good data and progress!" said Kyudai. "But if you really wish to evolve your quirk, awaken it to its full potential you will need more life threatening situations. And it just so happens that the Yakuza gang, the Shie Hassaikai want to get rid of us."
"Why?" Shigaraki asked. "We are aren't doing anything to get their attention? We even merged with Re-Destro's group?"
"Yes a parting gift from your father, if not for them Fuyuki would not be our base and stronghold."
"Felt more like he wanted to kick my ass and possibly kill me."
"Ah, well he sees your father as the figurehead for his cause, but after you gave your speech to his followers and to him they saw that same light that was snuffed out!"
"Then I need to be stronger!" He got back onto his feet. "Siegfried, again."
"You sure you don't want me to argue with you? I do have a copy of your father's quirk, could also improve your Magic Circuits."
"I will honor him on my own strengths, not barrowed."
"Hm." Kyudai smirked. "You certainly are more honorable than your father." He glanced at Siegfried before returning to his work.
'Nevertheless, my perfect Nomu are growing day by day.'
A bit later at U.A. After school Asui took Momo aside.
"Momo can you do me a favor? Ribbit."
"Hm?" Momo slightly tilted her head. "Sure what is it?"
"C-could you make me a tracker? I heard you could make one?"
"I can but why?"
"I-I'm sorry but I can't tell you."
Momo looked at Asui, she kept avoiding her eyes.
"Hmm… Asui you can talk to me. I am your friend."
"It's just…" She looked away. "I-I think Albert may have a girlfriend he has been sneaking out at night to see."
"Ooh!" Momo's accepted this reason. "Hm, so that is why you didn't confess."
"Ribbit. Y-yeah I overheard a conversation and didn't go through with it. Can you please keep this to yourself?"
"Of course. But how are you planning on putting a tracker on him? You would have a better chance at Bakugo not yelling for a day than to put a tracker on Albert."
"I had an idea."
Momo made Asui her tracker and a few other things and went on about the day.
Later on in Albert room.
"So you are gonna be working more with that girl huh?" Mélusine spoke through Albert using their connection as master and servant to speak mentally. Currently she was following Mirio.
"Yes I am. But I don't know how it will work out given the jobs Handler has been giving me." Albert responded while watching TV in his own room. "I already called him and told him about it but it's up in the air for now."
"Hm. Well let's put that aside from now, Mirio just got a call."
Mirio's room.
"Hm… I understand Sir Nighteye. Ushi will go with you that day… No. She is doing well in school. She seems to be enjoying her placement in the General Studies Department… Okay Sir Nighteye, I will tell her."
He held out his hand and his command seals reveal themselves. A few blue circuits appeared, and he spoke.
"Ushi can you come to my room? I have something to—"
Just as he was talking a young girl clad in samurai armor with a black bodysuit under her scantily clad armor that serves to cover only her torso.
"I am here Mirio!" Ushi said in a bubbly energetic tone with an expression that reminds one of cute dog you wish you could pet forever.
'Shit!' Mélusine quickly left the room but still stood outside near enough to here. 'Even if this era's mystery is so dried up it doesn't mean another Heroic Spirit couldn't feel me while in the same room!'
"Hm?" Rider looked around. "Was someone here?"
"Must be your imagination." Mirio replied. "Sir Nighteye called."
"What head do you need taken!" She said enthusiastically.
"Haha." he let out a soft chuckle. "Well tomorrow do you think you can go help Sir Nighteye? He needs your help."
"Of course!" She gave a nod and a big bright smile. "I did say when you summoned me that I will honor the full devotion as a samurai!"
"Of course, you also said you will do your best."
"And I will do my best to be of help to your mentor!"
'Has she not noticed me!?' Mélusine was baffled. 'What class is she? She has to—No, she doesn't seem like—She is Rider! She got to her master so fast!' Mélusine deduced it rather quickly, after all the only other who could ever hope to beat her in speed would be Rider.
"Albert I am heading home, it seems Mirio and his mentor, this Sir Nighteye are masters, allegedly. I am 100% sure Mirio is one, I saw his Command Seals."
Mélusine began to tell her everything she heard as she returned home to go build more model kits.
Albert's room.
"I see… Heh." Albert had a slight grin on his face. "This is a good—"
Knock! Knock!
"Hm?" Albert hears a knocking on the door. he walks over and opens it to see Asui. "Oh, hey, what's up? There something happening on the common area?"
"Hm." Asui shook her head. "Ribbit. I wanted to give you this." She hands him a necklace of a Japanese charm. "It's a good luck charm, I just wanted to give it to you." She said with a slightly blush face that was a genuine mix of her true feelings, caution, some regret, and fear.
"Oh?" He holds it in his hand and feels it. "It has some weight? What's inside—"
"You are not supposed to open them." Asui said. "If you open them then all the good luck would leave."
"Ah, I see. Well," he puts it on. "I'll be sure to remember that. Thank you for the sudden gift, it really made this day better." He gave her a genuine smile he didn't realize along with a warm feeling in his heart.
'Oh? So this is what it is like to get things from someone I like? It's nice! Feels like I am special!'
"Hm!" Asui nodded, regretting her choice now seeing Albert's smile.
'D-did I make the right choice? Yes. Yes! I… I need to know and… and… Then what?'
Asui kept a cheery expression.
"Well goodnight Albert."
"Night, Asui." Albert closed door in an even better mood. "Damn! What a good day! A step closer to my freedom and I got a gift! I'm even talking to myself that I'm so happy!"
That night Albert took a bath and went to sleep happily.
