Jay's POV
The post-trip blues usually consisted of unpacking sandy clothes and nursing mild sunburns. Today, it felt like carrying a boulder on my chest.
Just days ago, I was laughing in the water, the heavy suffocating weight of the Cyrus family incident briefly washed away. Now, the gray stone walls of the school seemed to shrink around me.
My feet dragged as I made my way toward the cafeteria, desperately craving a caffeine fix to kickstart my brain. The morning rush was in full swing. Students were bustling past, chatting loudly about their weekends, oblivious to the storm brewing in the corner of the pavilion.
That was where I spotted Cin. He was sitting alone at one of the long tables, looking unusually rigid. Clutched tightly in his hands was a familiar canvas backpack adorned with small, colorful pins.
I veered off my path and walked over, tapping the table to get his attention. "Hey, Cin. Whose bag are you holding?"
He looked up, a small, relieved smile breaking through his otherwise tense expression. "Oh, hey, Jay. It's Rakki's. She went to the washroom ."
I nodded, leaning against the table, about to ask him if he wanted anything from the line.
Before I could get a word out, a sharp squeal shattered the immediate peace.
A girl stormed over, her heels clicking viciously against the linoleum. It was Emelda—one of Section B student who wore her family's bank account like a badge of honor. Without a single word of warning, she lunged forward and forcefully snatched the bag right out of Cin's hands.
"You thief!" Emelda shrieked, her voice cutting through the chatter of the cafeteria like a jagged blade. "Why did you touch my bags?!"
Cin blinked, completely caught off guard, his hands still raised in the air where the bag had been a second ago. "What? No, that's not yours, it's—"
"Baby, what happened?" A heavy, arrogant voice interrupted. James, Emelda's boyfriend, stepped into the frame, instantly wrapping an arm around her waist.
He puffed out his chest, looking down his nose at Cin like he was looking at gum on the bottom of his shoe.
Emelda immediately shifted, clinging to his arm like a helpless damsel, her voice turning into a high-pitched, exaggerated whine. "Baby! This thief stole my cash! I left it right here, and he took it!"
My blood pressure spiked in a fraction of a second. I stepped squarely between Cin and the two of them, my expression hardening.
"He is not a thief," I said, my voice dropping into a dangerously cold register
Emelda scoffed, tossing her hair back as she glared at me. "Oh really? There was twenty-five thousand pesos in cash missing from my purse, and he was the only one hovering around here! Section E brat will do anything for a handout."
Hearing the accusation, Cin's face drained of color. He looked up at me, his eyes wide with a mixture of panic and deep hurt. "I didn't take it, Jay. I swear, I didn't touch her things."
I didn't need to look at evidence. I didn't need to hear a timeline. I looked directly into his eyes, my voice unwavering. "I trust you, Cin."
"Oh, how touching," James sneered, stepping forward to pressure us. "A bunch of losers protecting each other."
The commotion was drawing a crowd fast. The heavy glass doors of the cafeteria swung open, and a whole group of students spilled in, attracted by the yelling.
Within seconds, the space around us grew cramped as Aries, Ella, Rakki, Mica, Freya, Mykle, and Kiko all walked into the thick of it. Rakki was still drying her hands on her jeans, her brow furrowing the moment she saw the standoff.
Mykle, ever the instigator, swaggered up to James, crossing his arms. "What happened here, James?"
Emelda didn't miss a beat. She launched into her performance again, pointing a manicured finger at Cin. "This disgusting loser stole twenty-five thousand pesos from my bag! He's trying to deny it, and Jay is taking his side!"
Mykle's eyes shifted to Cin. A cruel, mocking smirk spread across his face. He stepped closer, deliberately trying to intimidate him. "If you wanted money so badly, Cin, why don't you just go and ask your mother?"
Cin flinched. His shoulders slumped, and he lowered his head, his eyes staring intently at the floor as his fists clenched at his sides. The mention of his family was a low blow, a boundary Mykle crossed with zero hesitation.
A volatile surge of adrenaline hit me. I stepped right up into Mykle's space, my eyes flashing with absolute venom.
"Why don't you go and ask your mother why she gave birth to a useless piece of trash like you?" I spat out, the words dripping with pure annoyance.
Before Mykle could retaliate, Aries stepped into my line of sight, his arm extending slightly as if to block me. "Jay, stay out of it," he commanded, his tone sharp and authoritative.
I looked at Aries, the absolute audacity of his interference making my jaw tighten. I didn't give him the satisfaction of an argument. I simply looked him dead in the eye and rolled my eyes with maximum contempt, stepping right past him.
James, emboldened by the growing crowd and the support of the other elite students, took another step toward Cin. "Look at him. You are such a loser. A fucking coward idiot."
That was the absolute limit.
Every muscle in my body coiled. I pulled my fist back, fully intending to shatter James's jaw right then and there. But before my fist could connect, another shadow flew past me. A loud, sickening smack echoed through the cafeteria.
It wasn't my punch. It was Rakki's.
She had leaped forward, her knuckles connecting squarely with James's face, sending him stumbling back against a table. Her face was flushed with a mixture of rage and protective fury.
"Don't you dare talk about him like that!" she roared.
Emelda shrieked in horror seeing her boyfriend hit. Blinded by sudden rage, she raised her hand, her nails clawed out, attempting to strike Rakki from the side.
I didn't think. I lunged forward, grabbing Emelda's shoulder and forcefully pushing her back into the vending machines. "Fuck you," I snapped, my voice lethal as I stared down at her. "Stay out of it, baby girl."
The cafeteria was in absolute chaos now. Students were murmuring, phones were being pulled out, and the tension was palpable.
Mykle, recovering from the shock of the sudden violence, glared at our entire group. "You see this? You all in Section E are just a bunch of fucking liars and thugs!"
My vision went red. I tore myself away from Emelda, my fist cocked back again, entirely ready to take Mykle's head off his shoulders. I was going to ruin him.
But before I could launch myself forward, three pairs of hands grabbed me. Cin pulled at my left arm, Mica grabbed my waist, and Rakki threw her weight against my right shoulder.
"Jay, no! Come on, let's go!" Rakki yelled in my ear.
"Don't do it, Jay! It's not worth it right here!" Mica pleaded.
I thrashed against them, my boots skidding on the tiled floor, but their combined weight was too much. They effectively dragged me backward, out of the cafeteria doors and down the hallway, leaving the echoing taunts of Mykle and the cries of Emelda behind us.

Keifer's POV
The morning air in the Section E classroom was relatively quiet, a stark contrast to the heavy emotional baggage we had all brought back from the lake trip.
I was sitting at my desk, leaning back against the wall, idly twirling a pen between my fingers. Felix was resting his head on his desk, while a few others murmured quietly in the back.
The peace was shattered when the heavy wooden doors of the classroom were practically kicked open.
Cin and Rakki stumbled inside, their faces flushed and breathless. Between them, they were practically carrying Jay, who was violently thrashing against their grip like a feral cat caught in a trap. Her uniform was slightly disheveled, her hair was a mess, and her face was an absolute mask of pure, unadulterated fury.
The moment they let her go, Jay spun around, shouting at the top of her lungs. "Why the hell did you stop me?! I would have sent him back into his mother's womb!"
I couldn't help it. A short, involuntary chuckle escaped my throat. Hearing her use an insult that absurdly aggressive while looking entirely capable of carrying it out was strangely captivating. I leaned forward, my interest instantly piqued.
Jane, who had been quietly reading in the corner, didn't panic. She stood up smoothly, her calm demeanor acting as an anchor in the room.
She walked directly over to the raging Jay, stopping just inches from her face. She reached out, placing her hands firmly on Jay's shoulders, and looked directly into her eyes.
"Calm down," Jane said, her voice dropping into a steady, commanding tone that carried zero room for argument.
Jay stared back, her chest heaving as she held Jane's gaze. For a second, it looked like she might explode at Jane too. But then, the tension in her jaw snapped.
Jay exhaled a long, heavy breath, her shoulders dropping as the frantic, destructive energy slowly drained out of her. She forced herself to calm down.
Jane took a step back, her eyes narrowing slightly. "Now. What happened?"
Rakki stepped forward, still wiping sweat from her forehead, her voice shaking with residual adrenaline. She didn't hold back. She told us everything—the bag, Emelda's accusation, the twenty-five thousand pesos, Mykle's disgusting comments about Cin's mother, and the fight that broke out.
As the details spilled out, the amusement vanished from my chest, replaced by a cold, sharp spike of anger. Mykle and James really thought they could just play god with anyone they deemed beneath them.
Insulting Cin was one thing, but dragging someone's family into it just to make them feel small? It made my blood boil.
Beside me, Jane's expression shifted from calm to absolutely lethal. She looked over at Jay, her voice deadpan. "Why didn't you break his mouth for speaking?"
Jay threw her hands up in exasperation. "I was about to! But they dragged me here before I could put my fist through his teeth!"
While the anger bubbled in the room, Jay's eyes suddenly shifted past Jane. She looked over at Cin, who was standing near the edge of the chalkboard. He had his arms wrapped tightly around himself, his head bowed, and silent tears were finally streaming down his face. The cruel words from the cafeteria had clearly pierced right through his defenses.
The absolute fury in Jay's eyes melted away in an instant, replaced by pure, fierce protection. She didn't hesitate. She ran straight across the room, throwing her arms around Cin and pulling him into a fierce, tight hug.
"I trust you, Cin," she whispered loudly enough for the whole room to hear, burying her hand in the back of his hair. "Don't worry about them."
Cin gasped, his shoulders shaking as he gripped the back of her blazer. "I didn't steal it... really, Jay, I didn't..."
"Did we ask for an explanation?" Jane interrupted, her voice softening significantly as she walked over to join them.
"We trust you," Rakki added fiercely. She threw her arms around both of them, locking Cin in a tight, unyielding embrace that defied every single elite student in that academy.
Watching Jay console him, my heart did a strange, heavy flip. The way she protected her own people, the absolute certainty with which she gave her trust—it was beautiful. And it was terrifying. I knew one thing for certain in that moment: she might not trust me yet, she might still look at me with suspicion after everything, but she trusted Section E implicitly.
She would take a stand for them, bleed for them, and destroy anyone who tried to hurt them. And looking at her, I knew I wanted to be someone she protected like that.
Jay broke the hug, wiping a stray tear from Cin's cheek before turning back to the rest of us. Her eyes were no longer wild with chaotic rage; they were cold, calculated, and focused.
"We need to clear this today only," Jay said, her voice firm. She looked directly at me.
I met her gaze, a dark smirk pulling at the corner of my lips as I nodded.
"I agree." I tapped my chin, thinking for a split second before the pieces fell into place. "The plan is ready. We are going to capture James and Emelda."
Jane raised an eyebrow, crossing her arms. "And then?"
Yuri stepped up from the back of the room, cracking his knuckles with a chillingly calm expression. "We hit him until he confesses."
Jay looked at me, a dangerous, matching smirk spreading across her face. "Perfect."
Yuri pointed a finger at Rakki. "Rakki, you stand at the back, recording everything. We need proof when they admit they lied."
All of us nodded in unison. The atmosphere in the room shifted from victimized to predatory. The elite students thought they ran this school, but they forgot what happens when you corner Section E. The plan was in motion.
------------------------------
Yuri's POV
Watching Jay get dragged into the classroom was like watching a hurricane being forced into a birdcage. She was ready to tear the walls down, her voice echoing off the concrete as she screamed about wanting to send Mykle back to his mother's womb.
But then Jane stepped in
I leaned against the back wall, a small, knowing smile touching my lips as Jane placed her hands on Jay's shoulders. I knew one thing above all else: only Jane could calm down Jay when she reached that level of absolute, destructive fury.
There was an unspoken understanding between them, a deep-rooted respect that didn't require words. Seeing Jane handle her so effortlessly made something warm bloom in my chest.
Then came the story. As Rakki laid out exactly what James, Emelda, and Mykle had done to Cin, the warmth in my chest vanished, completely consumed by a dark, rising anger.
To corner a kid like Cin, who rarely raised his voice, and accuse him of theft just to humiliate him? It was vile.
I looked at Jane. The terrifying, icy look that took over her eyes sent a thrill straight down my spine.
She looked ready to commit a crime, her voice dropping into that quiet, dangerous tone as she asked Jay why she hadn't broken Mykle's mouth. I fell for her all over again right there. Her loyalty wasn't loud, but it was absolute, and it was lethal.
When Jay and jane dropped everything to run and hug a crying Cin, stating clearly that she trusted him without needing a single shred of proof, the sheer solidarity of Section E made my heart melt.
We weren't just classmates; we were a liability to anyone who tried to mess with us.
"We hit him until he confesses," I said aloud, stepping into the circle as Keifer laid out the strategy.
We didn't wait for the school administration to handle it. The administration belonged to their parents' checkbooks anyway. We handled things our own way.

Author's POV
The old, abandoned storage shed near the edge of the campus woods was dark, smelling of rust and damp earth. Sunlight only filtered through the cracks in the wooden planks, illuminating dust motes dancing in the air.
In the center of the room, James was securely tied to a heavy wooden chair, his neat uniform torn and stained with sweat. In the far corner, Emelda was huddled on the floor, weeping hysterically, her perfect makeup ruined by tracks of tears and mascara.
Yuri, Edrix,,Mayo , Kit , David and Keifer stood around James like executioners. A dull, heavy thud echoed through the shed as Yuri landed another clean blow to James's midsection.
James groaned, spitting a bit of saliva onto the dirt floor, his arrogance completely shattered.
Jay stepped out from the shadows, her footsteps silent. She didn't look at James. Instead, she walked straight over to the corner, reaching down to grab a handful of Emelda's styled hair, forcing her head up to look her in the eye.
"Tell us who told you to do this," Jay demanded, her voice flat, completely devoid of mercy.
Emelda whimpered, her hands clawing weakly at Jay's wrist. "I... I'll tell you! Just stop them!"
Before she could finish, Edrix stepped forward and delivered a solid, ringing punch right to James's jaw, snapping his head to the side. The chair creaked dangerously under the impact.
"Calm down, guys," Jane said suddenly, stepping into the center of the room. She looked down at Emelda, her expression softening just a fraction. "I feel pity for her."
Jane walked over to the corner, crouching down in front of the sobbing girl. She kept her voice steady, almost gentle. "Just tell the truth, and we will leave both of you alone. It's that simple."
Emelda swallowed hard, her chest heaving as she looked between Jane and the intimidating figures of the boys. "It's...
It....
was... It... ....
I can't say!
They'll ruin my family if I say anything!"
The gentle look on Jane's face vanished instantly. She stood up, her expression turning into one of utter disgust. "You are worthless to talk to, bitch."
Yuri broke into a sudden, loud chuckle from the background, shaking his head.
Blaster, who was leaning against the doorframe keeping watch, smirked and looked over at Jane. "Someone was feeling pity a second ago, huh?"
Jane didn't even look back at him, her tone completely dry. "That's useless for people like them. They don't want the easy way out."
Keifer stepped up next, adjusting his knuckles before delivering a devastating, solid punch right to James's cheekbone.
The force of the blow caused James's head to slump forward, completely dazed.
Seeing her boyfriend take another heavy hit, a sudden, desperate surge of adrenaline seemed to possess Emelda. She scrambled to her feet, her eyes wild. Her fingers locked around a heavy, rusted metal rod lying near the wall. With a sharp shriek, she lunged forward, swinging the rod directly at the back of Keifer's head.
"Keifer, watch out!" Josh yelled from the back, her hands shaking as she kept the camera pointed at the scene.
But Keifer didn't need to move.
Jay flew into the space between them. Her bare hand shot out, catching the cold metal rod mid-swing with a sharp, metallic clang. Emelda's eyes widened in sheer horror as the weapon was stopped dead in its tracks.
"Fucking bitch," Jay growled.
Without breaking her grip on the rod, Jay threw a solid, perfectly executed punch with her free hand, striking Emelda squarely in the face.
The impact was loud. Emelda spun around and fell heavily onto the dirt floor. A dark trail of blood instantly began dropping from the side of her mouth, her eyes rolling slightly as she lay there, completely dizzy and unable to stand.
In the quiet that followed, Rory murmured from the back of the room, his voice full of genuine awe. "Note to self... remind me never to mess with her again."
Felix, nodding sagely beside him, added in a whisper, "Also, never try to steal her food. Ever."
Keifer turned around, looking at the groggy Emelda on the floor before shifting his gaze to Jay. A slow, genuinely impressed smile spread across his face. He leaned in slightly, whispering, "Nice punch."
Jay tossed the metal rod aside, wiping her palm on her skirt. She looked up at him, her expression cool but a tiny hint of amusement dancing in her eyes. "Yours was not bad too."
On the floor, the dizzy and entirely defeated Emelda began to cry in earnest, her resistance completely broken by the physical and psychological pressure. She raised a shaking hand, her voice cracking as she finally confessed.
"It was Mykle... Mykle and Ella! They told us to do it! They gave us the money to hide in his things! Please, just let us go!"
Keifer and Jay slowly turned their heads to look at each other. The pieces of the puzzle had finally clicked together. It wasn't just a random act of bullying; it was a targeted strike from the people who wanted to see Section E fall. A synchronized, dark smirk appeared on both of their faces.
Rakki stepped out from behind the crates, a massive grin on her face as she tapped the screen of her phone. "Done. Got every single word on video."
The tension in the room broke instantly. Jay, Rakki, and Jane walked toward each other, their hands raised, and high-fived each other with a sharp, satisfying slap. The elite students wanted a war, but Section E just handed them their first casualty.
