The night was quiet and cool, the campfire crackling softly in the small clearing they had chosen for camp. Suki had fallen into a deep, exhausted sleep inside the tent, wrapped in blankets after another long day on the road.
Lina sat beside the fire, the orange glow dancing across her face. She watched Luo Feng in silence. He stared into the flames, his expression calm as always, but she could see the deep sadness that never truly left his eyes — the grief for Miya, for their unborn child, for the entire village he had once called home. Without a word, Lina stood up. She slipped off her travel clothes one piece at a time until she stood completely naked in the firelight. Her skin glowed warm and soft, her long hair falling over her shoulders. She stepped close to Luo Feng, gently lifted his chin with both hands so he would look at her.
Feng's eyes slowly rose. He saw her bare body — the gentle curves, the quiet offering in her gaze — and his breath caught for a moment.
Lina's voice was soft, trembling slightly but full of sincerity.
"Feng… I'm willing to offer my body to you. Just to comfort you. Just to make you happy, even if it's only for tonight… or tomorrow. If it can help you forget the pain for even a little while, if it can let you feel something good again… I will give myself to you completely. No expectations. No tomorrow needed. Just let me help you heal."
She stood there, vulnerable and open, waiting for his answer as the firelight flickered across her skin and the night wind whispered through the trees
