Chapter 57 - Everyones make fun of him

Luo Feng stood motionless in the middle of the training ground, eyes locked on the King and the five heroes.

The King's face twisted with contempt. He rose from his seat under the silk canopy, voice booming with royal arrogance.

"How dare you speak like that?! Sacrificing a useless commoner village to save the heroes is a blessing for them! They should be proud to die as shields for the chosen ones! What are a few dirt-eating farmers compared to the Goddess's blessed heroes? Their lives were worth more in death than they ever were in life!"

A heavy silence fell.

Then rage exploded from the sidelines.

The Guild Master and the group of adventurers who had followed Luo Feng turned red with fury. Their hands clenched on weapons. One A-rank fighter spat on the ground.

"How dare he…!" the Guild Master growled, voice shaking. "He treats his own people like disposable trash just because they're commoners?!"

Another adventurer snarled, "Those villagers were innocent! They had families, children, pregnant women! And this bastard calls their deaths a blessing?!"

An S-rank warrior stepped forward, eyes blazing with killing intent. His hand was already on the hilt of his sword.

"Guild Master, I can't take this anymore! Let's join Feng right now and kill them all! Every last one of them!"

Several other high-rank adventurers roared in agreement, ready to charge.

The Guild Master raised a hand sharply, stopping them.

"Hold!" he ordered, voice low but firm. "Let's watch a little longer…"

In the center of the field, Luo Feng finally spoke.

His voice was quiet, almost gentle — the same calm tone he once used when teaching the villagers how to plant crops. But every word carried the weight of absolute judgment.

"I see…"

He looked slowly from the King, to the five heroes, to the soldiers, then to the royal guards.

"This kingdom… the King, the heroes, the Church, the soldiers… all of you are corrupt. You are nothing but slaves of the Goddess — worse than demons. At least demons kill openly. You hide behind blessings and pretty words while sacrificing your own people to save yourselves."

The entire training ground went deathly still.

The King's face turned purple with rage. The heroes' expressions shifted from mockery to cold fury. The soldiers gripped their weapons tighter, clearly ready to attack on command.

Luo Feng's hand rested lightly on the hilt of his Adamantite dagger.

He had said what he needed to say.

The line had been drawn.
