On the playground, the future professional construction crew of Tokyo Jujutsu High School was performing their first labor at Jujutsu High.
"Why? It's not like I was the one fighting," Shoko complained while pushing a handcart.
"Haha," Genji chuckled dryly, continuously moving the surrounding building debris onto the cart. "Can't be helped. Since Principal Yaga said so, we have no choice but to follow orders. Though I suspect he's just heartbroken because a large part of the campus was destroyed."
"Seriously, isn't this a waste of time? It doesn't cost that much to rebuild it anyway," Satoru Gojo complained from the side.
"That's only for the Gojo Family," Suguru Geto interjected. "For Jujutsu High, which relies entirely on the higher-ups for funding, rebuilding such a large part of the campus must be quite painful."
"How about I just ask my family to sponsor it?" Satoru Gojo said, sounding wealthy and arrogant.
"That wouldn't be bad. We could even add some infrastructure. Not to mention, a school this big only has a few vending machines, and there aren't many options to choose from..."
Satoru Gojo and Suguru Geto chatted away. Compared to the dusty and disheveled state of Genji and Shoko, their side could be considered relatively comfortable.
Satoru Gojo stood still, casually manifesting a few small Blue orbs. As the Blue swept past, all the surrounding building debris was sucked into it. Suguru Geto had it even easier; he summoned a few larger Cursed Spirits, ordered them to clean the playground, and then found a comfortable place to sit down.
"You two over there, stop slacking off!" Genji shouted from a distance.
"Bleh~ We aren't slacking off; we're just utilizing our Forbidden Techniques reasonably. It's not our fault your Forbidden Technique is almost entirely offensive with zero utility, right, Geto?"
The naturally gregarious Satoru Gojo had already changed how he addressed the others from "Classmate" to just Genji, Geto, and Shoko.
The others didn't have any objections to Satoru Gojo's way of addressing them. Just like that, they kept working until they finally cleaned up the surroundings. Seeing that Principal Yaga didn't come back, they chose to disperse and returned to their respective dorms.
In his dorm, Genji sat on the bed and slowly took off his shirt, revealing a well-built body and several terrifying scars. However, besides the scars, there were also multiple new wounds and bruises on his body.
"As expected, it's impossible to get through it without getting hurt."
Genji muttered. During his sparring match with Satoru Gojo, although he had tried his best to avoid the attacks from Blue, he was still injured by its terrifying gravitational pull and the debris from the ground and buildings it kicked up.
"Maybe I should have asked Ieiri-san to heal me." Genji didn't ask Shoko for treatment because he had noticed she seemed mentally exhausted after finishing Satoru Gojo's treatment, and his own injuries weren't that severe.
"Knock, knock..."
Just as Genji was planning to apply some medicated patches, the door was suddenly knocked.
"Yo."
After Genji opened the door, he discovered that it wasn't Suguru Geto or Satoru Gojo standing in front of the door as he had expected, but Shoko.
"Sorry, I didn't know it was you." Genji's face turned red when he saw Shoko standing at the door, and he quickly put his shirt back on.
"It's fine. Besides, your muscles are well-trained."
Shoko teased. Genji was the type who looked slim in clothes but had a muscular build when shirtless; his muscles were lean and not bulky. However, Shoko's attention was focused on the scars on Genji's body, though she looked at him and didn't ask anything.
"Let me heal the injuries you sustained from the battle with Gojo. I know you were afraid of draining my energy, but using Reversal technique doesn't consume that much mental energy. I'm just tired because I stayed up late last night."
Seeing that Shoko said this, Genji didn't insist anymore. Once Shoko saw that Genji agreed, she placed her hand on his chest and activated Reversal technique. Genji felt a warm current flowing through his body, repairing his injuries.
"Reversal technique really is quite useful. By the way, Shoko, how do you usually activate it? I've been studying Reversal technique for a while, but I just can't get the hang of it."
"How to activate the technique? Let me think. It's just like, whoosh, then zip, whoosh, zip, and that's it." Shoko said, gesturing in the air with her free hand.
"?" Genji looked at Shoko in front of him with shock, realizing that she didn't seem to be making fun of him, but was seriously trying to teach him.
"Fine, is this what they call a natural talent?" Genji said helplessly.
"You don't understand? You really have no talent." Shoko delivered another fatal blow.
Looking at Shoko's innocent expression, Genji felt like he had nowhere to vent his frustration.
"Alright, treatment finished. Get some sleep early, don't stay up late. I ran into Principal Yaga earlier, and it seems we have a mission tomorrow." Shoko finished the treatment, waved her hand, and left Genji's dorm, leaving a petrified Genji behind to ponder Shoko's "guidance."
Finally, it wasn't until the middle of the night that Genji finally fell asleep.
The next day, at 6:00 AM, while Genji was still fast asleep, he suddenly felt someone shaking him.
"Stop it," Genji complained. However, he realized the force shaking him was getting stronger, and it seemed someone had sat on top of him.
"What the hell is going on?" Genji opened his eyes with difficulty, but what came into view was a giant face.
"Damn it!"
Startled, Genji threw a punch. Satoru Gojo immediately activated Limitless to defend, but Genjisubconsciously used his "Break" technique, and as a result, Satoru Gojo was sent flying straight back.
"That's really mean, Genji-chan. Principal Yaga saw that you were taking so long to come, so he asked us to wake you up, and you actually hit me ( ◞ ‸ ◟ )."
"Get lost! Are you here to wake me up or to scare me!"
Just as the two were having a "friendly" conversation (?), two more heads poked in from the door.
"Regardless of whether Gojo Classmate's actions were right or wrong, Principal Yaga did indeed ask us to come find you guys," Suguru Geto said, and Shoko added from the side.
"That's right. Judging by Principal Yaga's expression, there should be a mission."
Hearing Shoko and Suguru Geto's explanation, Genji lost all drowsiness.
"Alright, you guys go to the playground first. I'll be there in 5 minutes."
5 minutes later, on the Jujutsu High playground, Principal Yaga said seriously to the group.
"Your first mission has arrived. All four of you must participate."
