Max considered modifying the body's structure. The body of a star human is already strong, having grown up in a high-gravity environment, and with the advancement and selection of the best genes, each individual is at the pinnacle of the species.
Even without ever having trained, he possessed strength equivalent to a ton, and his skin had a durability comparable to refined iron. Still, for him, that wasn't enough.
If he were to modify anything, it had to be useful.
Mobility.
That was the focus.
So, he chose to add thrusters to his body.
After analyzing various possibilities, Max decided to integrate thrusters directly into his body. They wouldn't be simple attached devices; they would become part of his anatomy, functioning in perfect sync with his movements.
Before starting, he drew up a detailed plan, redesigning parts of his body to maximize agility, control, and stability under different gravitational conditions.
When he began the modification, he went even further.
He reinforced his skeleton with advanced, dense metal alloys, and his skin received an enhanced layer capable of withstanding even shots from low-caliber laser weapons.
After two hours, he stood up and felt his body was a little heavier, though it didn't affect his movement. It was still light, even though it was denser.
With five days to build the laser cannons, Max set out to streamline the processes. He built more robots to speed up construction.
When he finished the robots, he sent them to work.
Max thought he would need a gigantic combat ship to leave the planet when necessary. But even with access to the materials, it would take an enormous amount of time.
For a fortress ship, it would have to be more than ten times the size to begin with.
For now, he would focus on building a warehouse on the ship to collect and refine materials more efficiently.
As the days went by, Max made progress; the planet was flourishing, and in a few months, it could become a habitable planet.
During this period, four laser cannons were completed. When there are a total of twenty, a protective network will be created around the planet.
Max made two more modifications, one to the heart and another to the stomach.
The heart became an energy hub, capable of absorbing any energy and channeling it throughout the body.
And, through its connection to the stomach, it increased energy storage and digestion through a closed-loop system, where everything is utilized.
With progress going well, Max built some reconnaissance ships with nuclear fusion engines and sent them into space searching for others like him.
As he watched the 15 small ships take off, he fervently hoped to find someone.
Over the course of the days, he received information from the ships, but nothing more than data so far.
Six more lasers were built. And the world could sustain life.
As Max walks to relax, he sees the iron trees that release more and more air into the environment, surrounded by various shades of blue and crimson metal.
With the stars shining and the sky reflecting off the metal ground.
If he weren't cut off from contact with his kind, he would be happy at that moment.
As he was thinking, a flash was seen in the sky, as if the light had just arrived.
He was confused about what it could be and ran to the ship.
When he requested information, he was told it was in another solar system, four light-years away.
He was intrigued by this, but he had no way to see what it was.
He urgently needed a warp drive.
However, it is unreachable.
As Max was thinking, he saw the light in the sky again, but it seemed closer.
As if it were coming toward this solar system.
