That was the last thing Draxus saw before his vision went blank and he felt his bones cracking stretching his body from the inside out.
Draxus let out a low whimper in his wolf body while feeling his body getting torn apart.
'I didn't know it would hurt this much! System you should've given me hints on this, what if I die from the pain?'

Blackthorn academy
Professor Ethan could be seen walking through the halls with a scroll in his hand, the guards nearby would bow towards him whenever he passed by but he only responded with a slight nod.
Headmaster Kingsley could be seen sitting in his office when professor Ethan opened the door.
"Headmaster"
"Ethan, thanks a lot earlier are you here for your reward?" Kingsley asked while gesturing for him to seat down.
"No, not that, check this I think I found clues to track down those behind Adrian's death" he said while placing the scroll in his hand on the table.
Kingsley raised an eyebrow while looking at the scroll Ethan gave him, three days earlier when Adrian was killed the whole of Blackthorn academy took the brunt of it and the Perpetrator was not yet found or the reason why he was killed. Just thinking of it made the already angry Kingsley even more furious.
Picking up the scroll and reading through the content he raised an eyebrow and looked at Ethan. "Is this real?"
"Yes headmaster, I confirmed it's existence myself." Ethan replied.
"I'll take a visit there myself then." Kingsley said then stood up while walking towards the door.
"I'll suggest you don't let others know of your destination." Ethan said while looking towards him.
"They won't even know I left the academy." Kingsley replied.

Draxus opened his eyes while looking at the clear skies above with dazed eyes.
'I'm alive? I'm alive.' he thought while remembering the immense pain he felt before he passed out then gently stood up.
'My body feels weird' he thought while staring at the trees around and his paws.
'I've grown taller and my claws are longer and sharper, my body feels light, it's very light' he thought while taking a slight leap then lifted his paws making a swipe towards a tree leaving a deep crack on it.
'One more swipe and it would fall, magical beasts are really different' he thought then opened the system panel.
'Why does it look so different?'

After a few seconds of tapping, he felt frustrated and asked 'Hey system, how does this work?'

'What do you mean? I can't talk now can I?' he thought while feeling frustrated like someone's who discovered a golden mine but couldn't take it.

'Oh,... How didn't I figure that out?' he thought then made a swipe towards a nearby tree while calling out 'Lightning swipe!'
A surge of lightning suddenly came from his chest, trailing all the way to his claws and left the tips of his claws striking the tree leaving huge claw mark almost half a meter deep in it leaving even Draxus himself shocked at the impact.
'Isn't this way too exaggerated? I just wrecked a tree with a single claw swipe, even those mutant beasts earlier couldn't do this much right?' he thought then leant his body down and burst into a sprint.
'Lightning Steps'
The next moment everything near him slowed down to a crawl and he nearly tripped over, he had to keep running to avoid losing momentum.
'System! System! Cancel it!!!'

He suddenly tripped over a rock and collided with a tree breaking it apart and falling unconscious.
