The guy who had been bitten by the snake turned back toward the big screen after the crowd let out several wow sounds. He stood up and looked around with one hand on his head.
"Sir, is this good? Sir, what do you think?" he asked, looking at the sergeant.
The sergeant smiled. "You got an A-tier beast power. This is very good. The Snake Hunter is a very rare beast and ability. What you got at just level one is excellent. You cannot use it yet. Your DNA has to adapt first. But in the afternoon, you will try it out. Now go back to your seat."
The guy walked back to his seat with a happy smile. He looked at the guy with the long blonde hair, pointed at him, and made a motion with his hand that he was going to kill him. He received high fives from his two friends.
"That guy with the blonde hair is gonna be in trouble," Tom said. "Those two are gonna get powers. They will take revenge on him. He cannot win against the three of them, especially with the Snake Hunter powers. If he is not at least level three, it is impossible for him to win."
I agreed with Tom because I had watched a lot of fights between Awakeners. It was very hard, almost impossible, to win against even two people at the same level as you if you did not have a higher tier. If he did not have an S-tier beast power, it was impossible for him to win. Or at least very hard.

The system screen from the watch was still loading when the sergeant called up a girl. She was the same girl whose ass we had been checking out when we were walking to the airplane. She had short black hair and walked like a K-pop model.
Ben hit my arm with his elbow. "Bro, this walk of hers will kill me."
Do not judge us for looking and checking her out. If you saw her, bro, even the sergeant checked her out when she turned and sat on the chair.
The doctor injected her with the compound, and the system screen lit up.
[Beast: Phoenix – Queen of Fire – S Tier]
The whole class exploded with noise. It was the first S-tier beast power after just an A-tier.

The class exploded even more. Flying was not a common ability, and it was highly wanted.
[Fire Shots – Level 1]
She only had two abilities. The sergeant started clapping, and some of the class clapped too.
"S-tier fire beast power," the sergeant said. "First S-tier in this class. I hope we get more S-tier beasts. Last year, we even got one double S-tier, but we never got the highest tier, the SSS-tier, also known as triple S-tier. Nice work. You can go to your place."
Next, he called some other people in the class. They got beast powers from D to B-tier and one to three abilities. None of the others had four abilities like the first guy.
Then he called another girl. I did not even look down to check her out. I was just looking at her face, her long silver hair, and her very beautiful features. She had a confident walk. She was very beautiful.
She sat on the chair while everyone kept looking at her. The doctor injected her with the compound, and the screen lit up.

"Another S-tier," the sergeant said. "You only got two abilities, but because of the type of beast, you will get so much stronger. No normal bullets or knives can stab you. You can go to your place."
After some normal beast types, a red-haired guy got called up. I could see girls looking at him because he was handsome. The doctor injected him with the compound, and even the doctor was smiling at him and treated him better than everyone else because he just looked very handsome.
[Beast: Dragon Family – Sun King – S Tier]
This time, the class exploded way more than with any other S-tier. I stood up, unable to believe it. Even the sergeant was obviously taken aback. A dragon, one of the rarest beasts in existence.

"A dragon. I cannot believe this," the sergeant said, hands on his head.
The sergeant was so happy, and I knew why. Everybody who took the military compound had a contract with the military, unlike us. So they had to continue working for the military. Not like us, who were just doing mandatory service for a year or two before going back to our lives.
After a couple more guys took the compound, the sergeant started teaching the class.
"So we are gonna start the class. Until the people who have already awakened complete the setup of the watch, make sure to fill in your beast type and abilities as written in your tower system. Then our system will tell you what tier your powers are.
"We are all a team, and I am your captain. We are gonna enter the gates together, fight together. Look after each other. We should be more than a team. We should be a family, and we will be.
"I am so happy we got S-tier beasts. But getting an S-tier beast does not mean you have guaranteed strength and immortality. Even if you got C, D, or B tiers, all of you can get way stronger than S-tiers with hard work and training.
"I know some of you are disappointed you got lower tiers, but it means nothing. There are a lot of examples of that. The 1st-ranked hunter in the kingdom, for example, he only started with bug powers and look how strong he is now. Even the 1st-ranked hunter in the world does not have S-tier beast powers.
"I will not say those people getting S-tier are lucky. They have been chosen to get those powers, but that does not mean the others with lower-tier powers are not chosen. You are all at the same level, only level one. And even if two people have the same S-tier beast power, they will level up and grow very different powers after leveling up, depending on their hard work and goals.
"In the afternoon, the real training starts. Every one of you will enter a tutorial gate alone and spend as much time as you need to know your powers, level up, and use military weapons. Then after everybody gets out, we will enter a training gate together and start our first campaign. Tension in the world is increasing. Gates are appearing more often and with stronger beasts. We need to prepare you for war.
"I should not tell this, but our country, along with a lot of other countries, is preparing for a world war, either against beasts or against themselves. That is why your military service this year will be different.
"WE HAVE TO PREPARE YOU FOR WAR. SOME OF YOU WHO ALREADY SIGNED A CONTRACT WILL BE REAL SOLDIERS. THE OTHERS NEED TO BE READY FOR SERVING THEIR COUNTRY AT ANY TIME."
