Chapter 50 - Chapter 50: Stelle: I'm a girl? Damn, why didn't you say so earlier!

In the early morning, Stelle, waking up from a cardboard box, opened her eyes.

Although the cardboard box was large, sleeping in it was still a bit uncomfortable. What should she do?

The wise young girl thought of a solution.

Day one, crash in March 7th's bed; day two, crash in Aidan's bed; day three, crash in Sister Himeko's bed; and so on.

Mr. Welt's door wouldn't open, and Dan Heng slept on the floor.

However, because Himeko was an elder, the number of times she could act spoiled had to be limited, otherwise Himeko might suspect she hadn't tidied her room.

But, how long had she been on the Express? She'd just make do with the cardboard box for these couple of days. Anyway, after resting for a few days, she could start decorating her room into a luxurious little residence. According to March 7th and Pom-Pom, her room was the largest on the Astral Express!

Although the room was originally full of dust, she had swept it slightly last night. Sleeping on the cardboard box wouldn't be a problem.

"..."

Having made up her mind, Stelle stepped out of her room.

—There was a boy she hadn't seen before in the Party Car.

He had black hair with blue highlights and was wearing a high-collared cloak that looked exceptionally cool...

Stelle blinked her eyes.

So there are other passengers on the Astral Express.

"Good morning, did you get used to sleeping here last night?"

"Hey handsome, who are you?"

"It's me."

Aidan raised an eyebrow.

"You even helped me flip over yesterday."

"You're Aidan?"

Looking at this boy who seemed completely unrelated to yesterday, Stelle was struck with shock.

"Where's my Hachi-Bug? Give my Hachi-Bug back to me! My Hachi-Bug!"

Aidan:...

"Today I'm not on the path of propagation, I can't turn into Bug."

"The Bug I can ride."

Stelle pointed at Aidan.

"Transform for me!"

"No way, do you think I'm a Transformer, changing into whatever I want? It's early morning, there's no logic in forcing someone to turn into a bug."

Stelle crossed her arms and circled Aidan twice, her eyes full of disappointment.

"So you can't?"

"What are you so disappointed about?"

"You're pretty handsome, but you can't be a mount." Stelle sighed, her tone filled with deep regret. "It was so cool sitting on your back yesterday. I was thinking of going back to the Space Station for a few more laps today."

As Stelle spoke, she sighed again with regret.

"Sigh."

After breakfast, Stelle followed behind Aidan. She wasn't sighing anymore, but she clearly had something to say.

"Why are you following me?"

"I have a lifelong request I want to ask of you."

Stelle pressed her palms together.

"What request?"

"I'm afraid of the dark."

"Real or fake? You're afraid of the dark?"

Aidan looked at Stelle with considerable surprise. Although he knew Stelle was particularly thick-skinned and eccentric, this was the first time he'd heard she was afraid of the dark.

"No, you're definitely hiding something from me."

"How did you find out?"

"I was just bluffing, who knew you'd just blurt it out."

Aidan spread his hands.

Stelle:...

"My room isn't ready yet, and your bed is really soft. I want to sleep in your bed."

"You're quite honest." Aidan crossed his arms and leaned against the corridor bulkhead. "So how did you make do last night? Don't tell me you slept on the floor in the corridor."

"I found a big cardboard box."

"...Sleeping in a cardboard box is way too miserable."

"Actually, besides being a bit lumpy, it wasn't a problem."

Stelle corrected Aidan.

"...Fine, then you sleep in my room today. I'll sleep on the sofa in the room."

"Why sleep on the sofa?"

Stelle scratched her head.

"Men and women are different."

"What, so I'm a girl?" Hearing this, Stelle's eyes widened in great shock. "Damn, why didn't you say so earlier!"

Aidan:?

"You don't even know if you're a man or a woman?"

"I have amnesia!" Stelle spread her hands righteously, and even looked down at her chest, then pinched her own arm. "My head is empty, who would first confirm their gender right when they wake up! Besides, I haven't looked in a mirror to study it carefully."

Aidan hesitated to speak.

Stelle's state really didn't look like an act.

Possessing a human form, but only slightly acquainted with human nature.

This girl is being absurd with such a straight face... No, she's just that kind of absurd person.

Truly a natural talent!

I couldn't come up with words like that in a lifetime of trolling.

"I really don't know what to do with you..."

Aidan didn't know what to say, and could only squeeze out that one sentence.

"I'll help you tidy your room later."

"No need."

Stelle decisively refused.

"Why?"

"That's my room, so of course it must be cleaned by me!"

"You can't do it. A week from now, you definitely still won't have cleaned it."

Although Stelle held a protesting attitude toward Aidan's words, since she was sleeping in his bed today after all, she could only shut her mouth resentfully.

Today is not a good day for talking back.

"Speaking of which, what Path are you on today?"

"Of course it's [Trailblaze]."

"Trailblaze..."

Stelle tilted her head.

She always felt that today's Aidan had an inexplicable sense of familiarity.

Forget it, don't think about it.

"Your bed is so comfortable."

At noon, Stelle came to Aidan's room and lay on the bed, preparing for a nap.

Then she was tossed into the bathroom by Aidan.

"Wash up before you get in bed to sleep!"

After a while, the grey-haired head poked out.

"Got any clothes? Mine are wet."

In the end, Stelle wore Aidan's white short-sleeved shirt and a pair of black shorts, sitting on the edge of the bed swinging her snow-white feet while drying her hair.

A Ponytail Stelle!

"The material of your clothes is quite soft. Lend them to me for a couple more days."

"You're really not being polite." Aidan turned on the hair dryer and set it to the warm air setting. "Turn around, I'll help you dry the back of your head. You're drying it like a bird's nest; it'll be even worse to look at when you wake up from your nap later."

Stelle obediently turned around, with her back to him.

The warm wind blew through the grey hair strands.

Once the hair was mostly dry, Aidan turned off the hair dryer, wound up the power cord, and placed it on the nightstand.

"Alright, it's all dry. Hurry up and go to sleep, don't just stand there."

Stelle immediately flopped onto the bed like a salted fish, rolling twice while hugging the quilt.

"The big bed is soft and so comfortable."

Stelle wriggled a few times on the bed, found the most comfortable nap position, and reached out a hand from inside the quilt.

"Come, you sleep here."

"I sleep here?"

Aidan looked at where Stelle was pointing and rolled his eyes.

"No, men and women are different."

Stelle achieved a personal best of 0.01 seconds in making a decision. Why don't you try too?

"I told you to come over, so just come over. Why are you so shy?"

Stelle reached out and pulled him onto the bed in one go.

"Come, come, come, let's sleep together. No need to be polite."

Aidan:?

"This is my bed."

"Uh... seems so, but it doesn't matter."

Stelle had absolutely no self-awareness as a girl.

"Bro, bro, don't call me when you wake up later."

Aidan:...

"Fine."
