Just a few minutes later, the front doors of the mansion flew open.
"I am here!"
Serafall announced loudly, running into the living room.
She bounced around the room with endless energy.
She hugged Rias tightly, waved happily to the children, and bowed politely to Scathach.
Then, she walked over to the pale girl in the black dress.
"Hello, Lady Dee!"
Serafall smiled brightly, completely unafraid to show her cheerful side to Death itself.
Dee just blinked her dark eyes and gave Serafall a small, amused nod.
Serafall didn't act like a supreme ruler of the Underworld at all.
She acted exactly like a fun, high-energy older sister.
She grabbed Elias by the arm and pulled him up from the sofa.
"Alright, Elias-chan, it is time for business,"
Serafall said, putting her hands on her hips.
"So, what exactly is my job at this big meeting?"
Elias asked, crossing his arms.
"Am I supposed to read a big speech or sign some papers?"
"Oh, definitely not,"
Serafall laughed, waving her hand dismissively.
"We have boring politicians to do all the talking and reading. Your job is actually much simpler."
She leaned in closer and lowered her voice to a dramatic whisper.
"You just have to sit there and look incredibly intimidating."
Elias raised an eyebrow.
"Intimidating?"
Elias asked.
"Yes!"
Serafall nodded seriously.
"There are going to be proud gods and arrogant leaders in that room. If they think you are just a normal human teenager, they might try to use you or boss you around. You have to show them that you are the boss. You have to scare them just enough so they respect the peace."
Elias thought about it for a moment.
"I think I have a really good idea for that,"
Elias smiled a small, calm smile.
"Oh? What is it?"
Serafall asked, tilting her head curiously.
"Watch this,"
Elias said softly.
He closed his dark eyes for one second.
When he opened them, the glowing blue-and-red pattern of the Mystic Eyes of Death Perception filled his pupils.
Instantly, the happy, warm feeling in the living room vanished.
A heavy, absolute cold swept through the air.
Serafall froze completely.
Her bright smile disappeared. Her breath hitched in her throat.
She was one of the strongest Devil Kings in existence.
She had endless demonic power.
But looking into Elias's glowing eyes, she felt a terrifying, freezing chill wrap directly around her soul.
She felt incredibly small.
For the very first time, Serafall realized that Elias was no longer just a strangely strong boy.
With those eyes, he felt like a completely different, higher being.
He was looking right at her mortality.
He was absolutely terrifying.
Elias blinked, and his eyes returned to their normal, warm dark color.
The heavy, freezing pressure vanished from the room.
Serafall took a deep, shaking breath.
Her knees actually felt a little weak.
"Was that intimidating enough?"
Elias asked, tilting his head innocently.
Serafall stared at him with wide eyes.
Then, a huge, excited grin spread across her face.
"Elias..."
Serafall whispered, her voice shaking with pure thrill.
"That was incredibly scary. My soul actually shivered!"
She pointed a finger right at his chest.
"You absolutely have to use those eyes at the meeting! The moment any of those arrogant gods try to act tough, just look at them like that. They will be too terrified to even breathe loudly!"
Serafall clapped her hands together playfully.
"Now that the boring business is out of the way,"
Serafall cheered, spinning around on her heels.
"I need to unpack!"
She ran down the hallway, opened the door to a nice, empty guest room, and pointed inside.
"I claim this room!"
Serafall announced proudly.
"From now on, this is my official secret base in the human world!"
Elias just laughed and shook his head.
"Make yourself at home, Serafall,"
Elias smiled.
Not long after that, the front doorbell rang.
Elias walked over and opened the heavy wooden door.
Sona Sitri was standing on the porch.
She pushed her glasses up her nose and let out a very long, tired sigh.
"Hello, Elias,"
Sona said politely, bowing her head slightly.
"I came to apologize. My big sister is imposing on you, isn't she?"
"It is totally fine, Sona,"
Elias smiled, stepping aside to let her into the house.
"I really don't mind. The more the merrier. This place is already loud and crazy anyway."
Sona walked inside and looked around the massive living room.
She saw Scathach leaning by the wall, Rin and Luvia arguing over a book, Akeno pouring tea for Asia, and Rias laughing with little Illya.
Sona observed the group carefully.
Elias was practically the only male in the entire house.
Yet, he didn't act like an arrogant king.
He didn't act like he owned these beautiful, powerful girls.
He treated every single one of them with true respect and gentle care.
They followed him because they genuinely wanted to, not because they were forced to.
Sona turned back to Elias.
"I actually came here to meet with Rias,"
Sona asked formally.
"Would it be alright if I went inside to speak with her?"
Elias gave her a warm, easy smile.
"Sona, you really don't have to act so formal with me,"
Elias told her.
"You don't need my permission. You can come and go as you please. You are my friend, too."
Sona blinked in surprise. She looked at his kind eyes, his warm smile, and his incredibly handsome face.
She felt a very strange, quick flutter in her chest.
*No wonder,*
Sona thought to herself, a faint blush appearing on her cheeks.
*With a wonderful attitude like that... It makes perfect sense why all these girls are falling for him.*
"Thank you, Elias,"
Sona said softly, letting her strict posture relax just a little bit.
She walked over to the sofa where Rias was sitting.
"Sona!"
Rias smiled, patting the empty seat next to her.
"What brings you over?"
Sona sat down. Her face became serious again.
"We need to talk about what comes next,"
Sona explained quietly.
"My sister told you about the big peace treaty, right?"
"Yes,"
Rias nodded.
"Elias is going to attend and help keep the peace between the factions."
"Exactly,"
Sona said, adjusting her glasses.
"But right after the peace treaty is finished, things are going to get very busy for us, Rias. It will be time for the official Rating Games."
Rias sat up straight. Her blue eyes suddenly gained a sharp, competitive spark.
"We have to participate this time,"
Sona told her rival firmly.
"Right now, both of our peerages are still considered low-class Devils. If we want to truly prove ourselves to our families and the Underworld, we need to fight. We have to participate, win, and get our teams promoted to mid-class."
Elias listened quietly as Rias and Sona talked about the upcoming Rating Games.
He leaned back against the sofa and smiled.
"You two do not need to worry at all,"
Elias said with absolute confidence.
"You are going to win those games easily."
Rias looked at him, her blue eyes shining with agreement. She knew he was completely right.
Because Rias and Koneko had taken Elias's blood, their magical power and natural talents had been upgraded to the absolute maximum.
"Elias is right, Sona,"
Rias smiled proudly.
"My magic is on a completely different level now. I am much stronger than Riser Phenex ever was. Even Koneko has unlocked so much of her hidden strength. If we fight, we will definitely win."
Sona looked at Rias's confident smile.
She nodded slowly, feeling completely motivated to train her own team just as hard.
Later that night, the loud mansion finally became quiet and peaceful.
Elias was lying in his large bed, holding Dee closely in his arms.
Since their existences had completely collided, their physical connection had become incredibly intense.
They had spent hours making passionate love, their bodies tangled together warmly under the heavy blankets.
Elias gently stroked Dee's pale hair as she rested her head on his bare chest.
They were both breathing softly, simply enjoying the deep, quiet comfort of being together.
But as Elias held her, a small, sad thought crossed his mind.
"Dee,"
Elias whispered softly into the dark room.
"Does it ever make you sad? Knowing that no matter how much we love each other... we can never have a baby of our own?"
Dee lifted her head and looked into his eyes.
Her endless dark eyes were completely calm and full of pure, warm love.
"No, Eli,"
Dee smiled softly, tracing a finger lightly over his heart.
"It does not make me sad at all. You know what I am. I am Death. I am the absolute opposite of life. Because of my nature, my body cannot create a new life."
She leaned up and gave him a soft, sweet kiss on the lips.
"But because I am the opposite of life,"
Dee explained, her voice filled with deep wonder,
"I find new life to be the most beautiful, fascinating thing in the entire world. That is exactly why I want you to have other lovers, Eli."
Elias looked at her, completely touched by her pure, selfless heart.
"I want you to be with Rias, Akeno, and the others,"
Dee told him honestly, a bright, happy smile growing on her pale face.
"I want you to have many babies with them. I want this huge house to be completely filled with our kids, grandkids, and great-grandkids! I want to watch them all grow up."
"They will be *our* family, Eli,"
Dee giggled happily, hugging him tighter.
"And I will help take care of every single one of them."
Elias smiled warmly.
He wrapped his arms around her waist and pulled her into a deep, loving hug.
Just as they were holding each other, the bedroom window slid open without making a single sound.
A dark, curvy figure silently sneaked into the room.
She slipped right under the warm covers, wiggled between them, and wrapped her arms tightly around both Elias and Dee.
"Nya~ I missed you two,"
A playful, teasing voice purred right next to Elias's ear.
It was Kuroka, Koneko's older sister.
"Welcome back, Kuroka,"
Elias smiled, letting the cat Yokai snuggle comfortably against his side.
"Are you sneaking into my bed again?"
"It is the warmest spot in the house,"
Kuroka giggled, resting her chin on his chest.
Even though Kuroka's name was officially cleared.
She still remains as a member of the dangerous Khaos Brigade, she had actually been working as a secret spy for Elias.
"Did you bring good news?"
Elias asked her quietly.
"Of course, nya,"
Kuroka purred softly, her golden eyes glowing in the dark.
"I have everything you need to know. The Khaos Brigade is planning their next big move to ruin the peace treaty, and I know exactly what they are going to do."
