Asher Keating glanced at his phone. Leah Sinclair hadn't said a single word to him all night, nor had she texted him. He had just sent her a message, but she hadn't even spared him a look. 'This girl is probably jealous,' he mused. 'How should I soothe her?'

He'd said he had something to do, but that "something" was having dinner with Madeline Sterling. He even let Madeline link her arm in his, and he'd held her hand. The thought of that scene made Leah's chest tighten.
Even though it was just for the brief moment the door was open, she had seen it. The two of them, one standing and one sitting, looked like they were posing for a wedding photo. They were a perfect match.
