Everyone who came to pick up Jace Lennox was there. As soon as his discharge was processed, they all headed back to his villa. On the way, Caleb Calloway went over the evening's plans with him.
"Jace, since you're getting out of the hospital today, we called Whitecoat to get everyone together. We settled on our usual bar."
"Yeah." Jace already knew about the plan.
"Boss, what's going on with you and Whitecoat…?" Charles Jacobs trailed off. He had called Dr. Whitecoat to tell him Jace was being discharged today, but the doctor hadn't come to pick him up. He couldn't help but suspect something was wrong.
"It's nothing. You'll find out when we see him tonight." Jace didn't want to say any more.
Seeing this, Charles Jacobs didn't press the issue.
After arriving at Jace's villa, Phoebe Faulkner first took Lionel Faulkner to his room before heading to Jace's. However, the moment she stepped inside, Jace pinned her against the wall. "A moment ago, why didn't you come to me?"
