An appointment six months out was enough to prove just how in-demand this Attorney Shaw was at Everlight.
Unwilling to let this opportunity slip by, Lynn Thorne stood up, bent her knees, and knelt before Byron Shaw. "Attorney Shaw, please, you have to help me!"
"Hey, Lynn!" Georgia Thorne immediately stood up to help her sister.
But Lynn pushed her away. "Attorney Shaw, if you don't help me, I'll kneel here until you do!"
Byron Shaw was much calmer than Georgia, as if he were used to such scenes.
"Miss Thorne, please get up." Byron sat up straight and helped Lynn to her feet.
"Attorney Shaw, I..."
"I'll take your case."
"Really?!" Lynn was overjoyed. "Thank you, Attorney Shaw! Thank you so much!"
Byron Shaw smiled gently, softly consoling Lynn while glancing at Georgia out of the corner of his eye.
His gaze held a flicker of interest.
