"Are we mustering? Is it an enemy attack?"
Hans opened his eyes to see everyone in the room already awake. The fastest were already donning their armor while the slower ones were out of bed. He was the last one up.
"Hurry up. At this rate, you won't know what pain is until an enemy's axe is buried in your skull," Captain Jack snapped when he saw Hans was finally awake. He tossed Hans his leather armor and the accompanying iron plates.
"I know, I know. Aren't you guys tired?" Hans asked, looking at Captain Jack with confusion as he quickly donned his clothes and armor.
Hearing this, Captain Jack felt a flicker of confusion himself. It was true; he hadn't felt truly tired in a long time.
The last time he had was during their escape from Sunset Fortress.
In truth, if they could check their system panels, they would know that Captain Jack was a Tier Six Soldier approaching Tier Seven, while Hans was a Tier Five with his experience bar halfway filled.
