Seeing the arrows about to fall, Dosa twisted around and charged back toward the Centaur Warriors who were still rushing forward.
As he ran, Dosa shouted. He had no choice; the volley emerging from the forest was simply too dense. To continue the attack would be suicidal.
Unfortunately for Dosa, his plan was wishful thinking; the situation wouldn't allow for it.
The entire Centaur army was already in a full charge. They had been thundering down from Wayne Mountain—could a force with that much momentum simply stop on a dime?
But upon hearing Dosa's shouts, the Centaurs at the front did halt their hooves, looking back in confusion at Dosa as he fled to the rear.
This sudden stop caused a chain reaction with the mass of Centaurs still charging from behind. Swarms of them crashed into the backs of those at the front, even trampling several to death.
The entire army suddenly ground to a halt, plunging into utter chaos.
