Hu Fei's shocked, flustered voice came from the other end of the line.
Lin Feng, however, was surprised that Hu Fei remembered his voice after they'd only met once.
"We still have a big deal to discuss."
"As a businessman, I'd think you'd have more confidence in your partners."
"Otherwise, who would trust you with their goods?"
Lin Feng's playful tone held a veiled warning, which Hu Fei quickly picked up on, immediately changing his attitude.
"You're right, Mr. Lin. I sincerely apologize for my previous oversight. I will arrive at the toll station in an hour and a half. Please wait for me."
"Also, I'll inform the person in charge of the supermarket at the toll station. You can take whatever supplies you want as compensation for my unauthorized withdrawal."
Lin Feng nodded. He had to maintain a position of strength. To Hu Fei, in a market where demand far outstripped supply, Lin Feng was the client who needed to be courted.
