Lionel Langley gave an inscrutable smile and said,
"Not only do you have to help me win her over, but you also have to get her to accept this child and play the role of a good mother."
He paused, then added pointedly,
"If you don't do this, there's only one outcome for her and me: divorce. Claire Sterling was already abandoned once when Cian broke off the engagement. Her reputation is already tarnished. If word gets out that she had a quickie divorce with me, do you think she has the fortitude to keep on living?"
Seraphina Quinn frowned. "Why wouldn't she have the courage to live? A daughter of the Sterling Family isn't as spineless as you think. Lionel Langley, you're her husband. You must explain this situation with Sabrina Ainsworth and her son to Claire yourself, and you must come up with a viable solution."
Lionel Langley narrowed his eyes. "Haven't I already given you the solution?"
Seraphina sneered. "You call that a solution? You're clearly going too far."
