Seraphina Quinn looked at her coldly. "Even if that child is his, it has nothing to do with me. I'm no longer a threat to you."
Lorelai York sneered:
"Seraphina Quinn, you really underestimate your own charm. Even my older brother, Willis York, was so captivated by you he landed himself in a police station. I refuse to believe Damian Fairchild is truly over you."
Seraphina Quinn's voice was cold. "What exactly are you trying to say?"
Lorelai York said nonchalantly, "Nothing, really. I just... felt like getting under your skin a bit."
With that, Lorelai York turned and walked away.
Five minutes later, Seraphina Quinn arrived at the teahouse downstairs.
When she arrived, Commander York had already brewed the tea.
Seeing her approach, Commander York gestured for her to sit. "Sit down."
As Seraphina took her place at the table, York said to Lorelai York, who had followed her in, "Wait outside. I'd like to speak with Miss Quinn alone."
