Seraphina Quinn's brow furrowed deeply. She looked at Silas Fairchild, confused. "What's wrong with him?"
Silas Fairchild sneered. "The breakup. You're acting like nothing happened, but it nearly killed him!"
Seraphina Quinn's fingers curled into a fist, but she suppressed the impulse welling up inside her.
In the end, she simply opened the car door and left.
When Silas Fairchild returned to the Fairchild family estate, he ordered a servant, "Go upstairs and get Damian Fairchild for me."
The servant replied, "Mr. Silas, the second young master isn't here. He went out."
Silas Fairchild frowned. "Out? With whom?"
The servant said, "Apparently, the father of that woman, Mia Linden, didn't make it and passed away. The second young master must have gone to handle the matter."
Silas Fairchild clenched his jaw and, with a grim expression, called Damian Fairchild.
The call connected quickly.
