Damian Fairchild stood at the door and knocked twice. "Open up."
The moment Seraphina Quinn heard Damian Fairchild's voice, she felt like she was about to fall apart.
Thankfully, Cian was still fast asleep. If those two actually ran into each other, there would be bloodshed at a minimum; at worst, someone could end up dead.
Seraphina Quinn turned off the light, grabbed her phone and room key, and stepped out of the room.
The moment she stepped out, she pulled the door shut behind her.
Seeing this, Damian Fairchild's eyes narrowed dangerously. "What? Are you hiding some other man in your room?"
At his words, Seraphina Quinn's heart began to hammer in her chest.
But she didn't let a trace of her panic show on her face.
She met Damian Fairchild's piercing gaze and said calmly,
"I've been working so late I haven't eaten yet. I want to go for a walk on the nearby old street and find something to eat."
